does anyone else ever just get sucked in while looking at (Google) maps?
for instance, I just discovered that there is a small town called Merlin in southern Ontario XD
Yup.... I once spent 2 hours trying to find my house in person mode because google maps hadn't gone down my road...
Last week I literally spent 3 hours just measuring distances xDD
I was meant to be looking up a route xDD
lol glad to know it's not just me! Sometimes I forget just how fascinating the world can be
I'm kind of inpressed that you live on an undocumented street XD it's like you're off the grid
I also went on a tour of my town via google maps.... I spent half an hour zooming in on the window of the local shop to see if I was inside it
and yeah, it is documented now, but at the time it was the one part of good ol' abbey wood that hadn't been filmed, so I kept trying inventive ways of seeing my bedroom window...
that really is an amazing list of discoveries, hily shit XD imagine, a whole jungle of isolated species we didn't even know was there??? Amazing
My street doesn't have street view. A lot of my town doesn't, tbh.
