their all good

gen 2 has nostalgia

gen 1 has stupid mechanics

gen 3 has battle frontier and the beginning of good pokemon gameplay/ storytelling

even if it has flaws in it's mapping

gen 4 had good competitive play but the worst campaign of all time

gen 5 tried too hard but had some of the best impliments pokemon wise

gen 6 made everyone that wasn't a pokemon fan a fan again and had brilliant online play

also the only pokemon game I exceeded 999 hours on

yeah I found it used at a game store in top condition it is possibly the most pretty game I have ever played
