I've done something similar before. No judgement here.

A few years ago, my cats got hold of a feather boa for a costume and proceeded to shred it all over the living room and dining room. Maintenance needed in my apartment to fix something and I got home 5 minutes

before maintenance arrived. The guys just looked at the disaster and I told them a bird must have gotten into the apartment and the cats dealt with it.

The cats had shredded the boa the night before.
