I'm really tempted to do the same. I do have real life friends and family there though. I've already whittled down my friends list.

I'm fortunate in that Facebook was always a low-value network for me. Makes it easier to walk away.

I have enjoyed it, and made friends there, but it's a dead man walking. And it's getting a bit cultish now, which is no fun.

The fact that it's impossible to have a rational discussion over there about leaving/staying says everything you need to know.

I am honestly unsure why I maintain twitter and facebook accounts I very rarely see and whose email i ignore.

kdfrawg I'm that way with Google+, and it's probably the next to go.

I have already killed my G+ account, maybe a year ago, and totally understand your reaction to The New ADN. I'm not saying that much over there now, either.

kdfrawg I'm not going to cancel/downgrade either of my accounts yet, but come renewal time they'll both drop to the free tier.

I will admit that I have already unfollowed a number of people who have become annoying. As much as I loved ADN before, the term "dead man walking" describes it well now.

I was telling Ronnie the other day that someone should make a Downfall video where Hitler finds out that ADN is really dying.
