People around here don't seem to be getting terribly excited by the World Cup yet. Four years ago there were lots of England flags about. This year, though... nothing.
Same here - I've seen one car with flags (and one car with the stars and stripes). No houses draped with giant flags as there were last time.

There's a pub in our village with lots of England flags but they're promoting that they'll be showing matches on their big screen TV.
"Please watch here and buy some drinks!"
My hubby prefers motorbike racing but we'll probably morph into "woodwork supporters" when England are playing..
