people around here LOVE Subarus. hell, I loved my Subaru. it didn't give me a single moment of trouble before it exploded in a giant fireball.

not a glowing recommendation for any car brand but

there was a series of Subarus recalled for fire, but those were fires starting in the wiring in the mirrors. my fire started in the engine compartment

me too. I wish I could go for a swim to chill out, but my wetsuit burned up in the car.

I'm ok tho and that's what's important. (also I had just ordered another wetsuit so it's not like I won't get to go swimming next duty period anyway.)

plus renters insurance so I'll be reimbursed for the big items that burned.

I didn't get a warranty on the car though because when I bought it i was thinking positive, not "this will explode two months after I buy it"
