...hmm. Soma has a lot of abilities, but not many of them lend themselves to working on high-end magic. =|a Alchemy maybe, or he could try to work on it based on his knowledge of the castle's portals.
Odds are good he just won't try, though, since it REALLY isn't his area of expertise.
m_logan_2k2: if you don't think he would get involved of his own accord but want to participate, you're still welcome to have him walking past or have an NPC try to drag him into it =3
