It is usually either a frilly female name (i.e. aleksandra.collette2000)or a slutty female moniker (crazyjuicy4u99). Spambots.

I have always given them the benefit of the doubt, just because. I like to see if these things are ever more convincing. They never are.

I get the initial 'so-and-so has sent you a request! Accept/decline?' And so I message with 'do I know you?'

They always respond with 'I saw your profile and thought you seemed cool' then something like 'I'm studying for my bachelors in psychology'.

I usually respond at this point with a specific question, like 'what did you see on my profile?' (Protip- my Skype profile is barren)

They usually respond as if I'd said something that indicated interest, like 'hee hee, you ever get on cam?' By now, I flat out ask:

'Are you human?'

They never are. And it's true, if they turned out to actually BE human, and just stupid as hell, I'm not sure where it would go.

Anyway, it always ends with me blocking the address after they respond to my inquiry with an address to some jumbled site.

I feel superior in the game of intellectual cat and mouse with a bot, until realization hits; the opponent isn't even real.

And as usual, as in many things, I'm sitting by myself, talking to myself.
