the good/evil axis is pretty consistent since it's defined by sets of specific behaviors, more or less even if what individual people consider "good" or "evil" is subjective.

law/chaos is trickier because everything in that spectrum is basically dependent on the character's culture.

It leaves a lot up to interpretation and speculation. ^^;

It's the more relative of the two.
