im applying for a job as a research assistant for a neurology department at a cancer center so im going to assume that its going to be brain cancer research

but it doesnt say that! it asks for a two year commitment but no info on exactly what i would be doing

plus it requires a cover letter which is uploaded but there is no info anywhere on who to address it to or for that matter which of their like 5 locations i would even be working at than its in manhattan

you don't have to address a cover letter to a specific person, as long as you know where to send it, it should be fine. maybe take a look at the department website to get a feel for what the job might entail?

or even send an email asking about the job- it shows you have a vested interest in it and they might look at your resume twice as hard than someone who didn't ask
