I have used Shellac/Gellish for about 1.5 years straight. My nails were pretty strong to begin with, but the technician told me she recommended it to people who wanted a break from

acrylic and grow back their nails since the Shellac/Gellish stuff is suppose to help protect your nails.

Mochimochi: I should try that...I want my nails to grow but I like nail treatments that last for longer than a day or two. How long does that last?

LiliBug: 2 weeks. I've pushed it to 3 but since it's non-chipping, it looks pretty blargh when you can see the grow below. Amazing stuff though.

*growth. One thing I do recommend is doing research on a really good place to have it done

I've had good jobs and bad jobs and the good jobs leave my nails amazing and they grow out really nicely

YES! Same. I'm lazy and I'm okay with having the same color for 2 weeks. And if you pick pretty neutral colors like whites/pink etc, the outgrowth isn't too obvious.
