I have added new people since I last talked about them so this will be new.

I volunteer with Friends of the Library, an organization that helps get funds to public libraries and to public broadcasting networks. if you have something like PBS in your town, FoL probably-

-donates money to it.

My particular chapter does booksales two or three times a year to raise said money. We sell pretty much everything - books, CDs, DVDs, tapes, vinyl, art and occasional weird stuff.

And comic books. And the comic books are the issue today.

See, the organization is mostly populated by people that are retirement age, and they have certain... views of things.

They keep trying to censor the tiny erotica section into non-existance, for example.

But today. Today they decided to try to censor the comic books.

They want to put all the Dark Horse comics in a place farther from the children's section because "kids shouldn't read those".

Hence me clawing my face off because WHAT

Dark Horse, of all publishers.

When there are comics from IDW that deal with torture, maiming, and brainwashing. And comics from Top Cow that deal with cannibalism. And comics from Vertigo that are... well. Vertigo.

Dark Horse publishes comics with dogs and cats solving crimes.

Sure there is also Hellboy. But Hellboy really isn't that bad.

I just. If you're going to censor the section "for the children" then WHY IS THERE A SECTION AT ALL
