I was going to bed around 2:30, when I heard her throwing up again
She ran off to my mom's room, and when I found her in there, I realized that her back paws had gone paralyzed all of a sudden and she'd collapsed
She kind of dragged herself back to my room
We took her to the emergency vet, but she couldn't even feel a needle stuck in a back paw. The doctor said the prognosis wasn't good.
So we wound up letting her go.
I stayed with her till the last second, and so did Tory and Ray
I kept telling her that I loved her
And she wasn't struggling, and she wasn't crying much
She just kind of nuzzled us
God, this cat was made of love
I wish I was a religious person, so I could find something comforting
Oh god hon, I'm so sorry.
Though at least we didn't let her suffer
you tried your hardest for her
The doctor looked kind of relieved when I made the call to let her go instead of dragging it out, taking her to the Boston branch of Angell Memorial
She was barely holding on. Stretching it out would have just been torturing her for my own false hope
Thank you, everyone. Having your support made this horrible last two months slightly less horrible
Oh god, I'm so sorry
I just... it's awful to lose a pet, especially when you've been struggling so hard to save them.
You (and Lucy) will be in my thoughts.
Omg! hugs I'm so sorry for your last
What Lepi said. You loved her, and I'm sure she knew that.
I'm sorry for your loss
I'm so sorry
I can tell she was cared for and loved a lot
I'm really sorry. You both shared your love as long as you could
oh no, I'm so sorry
I'm so sorry
I'm so sorry /hugs
