Basically, my last hope at this point is that it's simply a matter of raising the dosage or giving her more doses.

If not... I may have to see if friends of mine (who I know can pill cats) want another cat.

And. I promised her I'd never abandon her, and it sounds kind of ridiculous, since promises made to a cat.
