heh, yeah. I was unimpressed with Cloud Party and remained so every time I looked in. Yahoo is the perfect purchaser, since it ruins everything it touches anyway.

Yeah, I was talking about this earlier: it's an aqui-hire. Yahoo bought Cloud Party in order to hire all the developers, but is shutting down the service.

It never seemed like they got much past proof of concept. They may just wanted to do a quick sale as part of their exit strategy. You never know. Either way I'm sure Yahoo will do nothing with it.
