I got my main W2 today, and FAFSAs are due by 2/1, so it's time to make a first pass and get some rough numbers.

Hell, my 1099's from my investments won't be available until 2/15.

Yeah, it's really crazy. You have to submit the FAFSA before you have all the info. You submit it with the best numbers you have, and then once you have everything final, you update it.

It's a crazy game, but it's a game you've got to play when your kids are in college.

So glad that we can skip that game for a few years now... well, until the youngest starts looking at colleges. (sigh)
