only just now pulling himself out of a hangover stupor from New Year's celebrations... having taken advantage of his youthful appearance and gotten totally smashed with a group of teenagers. And partying like
he hadn't in a very.. very.. long time.
came over to wish him a happy new year and give him his Christmas gift. He was knocking on his down.
Francis
is
making himself a cup of coffee and outright whines when he hears the door.
Mattie
is
hugging a neatly wrapped gift close to his chest as he knocked again.
finishes his coffee, bringing it with him and grumbling softly. He opens the door though, blinking when he sees Matthew instead of a door to door salesman.
smiled brightly at him over the box when he finally answered the door. "Bonjour Francis!"
stares at the cheery boy in front of him for a moment, before finally uttering "Mathieu," in greeting and stepping aside to let him in.
raised a brow at that as he paused before he stepped inside. "Are you okay?"
blinks, before putting on a smile and nodding. "Of course cherie..... perhaps though, some coffee is in order," he replies... missing the fact he already was drinking from a mug of coffee. Maybe he was
a little out of it.
raised a brow at that and stepped inside finally. "Uh huh... I brought your Christmas gift. I know it's kind of late but.." he shrugged.
hums softly at this, looking down at the parcel offered to him and thanking him softly as he accepts it. "Ah oui.. I didn't get to see you for the holidays this year, I have your gift here as
well..." somewhere. Hopefully under the Christmas tree that he still had set up.
smiled at him and shrugged a bit, "no worries. I figured you would be spending it with Gregory."
