Sometimes taking a deep breathe starting at 100 saying 100 letting that air go breathe in 99 breathe out breath in 98 breathe out etc. etc. but controlled slow breathing can help people sleep. Works for me

If I'm having super bad issues and as Nello suggested sometimes tea or reading right before bed can put people to sleep, or just controlled breathing in general, light work outs or yoga, there are a lot of
