had heard from a brownie that someone was wandering the woods. He was curious and a little annoyed that so many humans decided to just tramp through here.

unaware that he was being watched. He was looking for a certain area...

could tell he was looking for something. He stuck to his natural form as he slipped up into a tree to better watch him.

to stop, pulling out the book he had taken from the library. This was probably very stupid of him but he needed to know.

got as close as he could without the other noticing him, he wanted a look at that book.

closes the book and starts heading further into the forest.

frowned at that and moved to follow him, he had to slip down from the trees though.

pauses when he hears something. He glances around but doesn't spot anything unusual before continuing on his way. He looked very determined.

decided to hang back and follow him for now, he wanted to know what he was up to.

that would be a bad idea. He does catch wind of something following him, even if it's faint and whenever he looks around he can't spot a single thing. It puts him on edge.

knew the other was getting close to where he hid the bodies of the humans that trespassed on his area and disturbed the forest.

had thought he could smell decaying corpses. It was just accidentally coming upon them that would set him off.

stuck to where the other couldn't see him as he willed the plants and trees to change, hiding the path the other had come in on.

glances behind him and notices that everything had changed. The path he had been on was gone. He backtracks for a bit but no luck. Whatever was going on, it was not natures doing.

shifted to his human form and slid out of his hiding spot. "Hunting for something?" he knew the other wouldn't shoot first, not if he wasn't threatening him.

spots him and quirks a brow, hewas on edge but he had a feeling this wasn't the creature he was looking for

"Ja, I am. Have you seen anything strange?"

tilts his head a bit as he watched him, "no... nothing strange."

's lip thins and his brow quirks. "What brings you out all the way here following me?"

shrugs as he looked him over, he tucked his hands in his pockets. "Curious... to people snooping around here."

his hand near one of his weapons just in case. "Last time I checked no one owned the forest."

shrugs a bit as he watched him. "We get territorial, it happens."

should have expected such a response. "I'm assuming this is your territory then."

glanced around, "close to it." He looked back over at him as he watched him. "What are you looking for?"

hesitates before answering. "A demon of sort."

raised a brow at that, "I see..."

eyes him. "Nothing? You haven't seen anything at all?"

shakes his head, "not a thing... well maybe."

quirks a brow. "Maybe?"

moved closer, "maybe. I see a lot of things."

eyes him but doesn't move away. "Have you heard or seen kids that were being lured our and disappearing?"

tilted his head a bit, "none being lured."

quirks a brow. "Voluntarily coming?"

nods, "yes, coming and touching... getting in the way."

these aren't the same kids that he's talking about but now he's interested. "And what do you do with them?"

shrugs, he knew they weren't talking about the same kids. "Nothing... so you're looking for a demon?"

can't help but shake his head at the change of subject. It was well done. "Ja, it hasn't been here very long..."

wasn't about to tell him anything he didn't have to. "Well I should wish you luck then."

wasn't letting him off that easy. "What about those kids you deal with? What do you do to them?" He was a lot more serious now.

smiled slowly at the question, he moved then, stepping back and shifting to his fae form. "Nothing they don't deserve."

doesn't look surprised if he was mildly surprised. "Nothing they don't deserve? I doubt someone deserves to be killed for a trivial reason." His hand is back on his weapon.

watched him and shrugged, "who said I killed them? Besides you're not here looking for me, I'm not the demon you're looking for."

shouldn't get distracted...that was true. "This is true..."

nods as he continued to stare at him. "Hmm..."

frowns. "I'll remember you and I'll come back so we can have a chat."

raises a brow and smiles at that. "If you can find me."

will make sure he finds him. "I'll find you. I can assure you that much."

laughs softly at that, "I highly doubt that one."
