I am appalled that the US government and the American people (and ultimately the global economy) are able to be held to ransom by two men: Boehner and Cantor.
What is the world coming to??! This is proof positive that the Republicans were angling for a shut down all along and made sure that the majority members of their own party
couldn't change their minds and offer up a motion in favor of ending this stand off.
