i'm boring and i'm pretty sure i don't have any sort of particular accent despite living in the south

i've been told i can get kind of a drawl at times and i know i use some regional grammar/pronunciation but that's it hahaa

i have a super heavy american accent when i speak spanish tho. it's really embarrassing.

i practiced for hours and tried my best to get rid of it but i always had one and my spanish teachers/professors would tease me for it so hahaha

like, they weren't trying to be mean but it was still embarrassing

i don't speak a lot of korean at all but everyone says when i do, there isn't much of an accent except for saying a few words obvs like an american

at least, that's what i've been told.

i bemoaned my american accent in spanish to the ajumma at the restaurant we go to and she told me it was a condience thing

according to her when i'm confident with what i'm saying, she only hears a cute american accent but when i'm nervous/unsure, she hears an american soldier practicing hahahah

i'll never know im just not confidence with spanish iv'e had too many bad teachers and i'll always doubt myself
