idk if anyone remembers there was a girl my bro was talking to that he liked but they never dated. she was a huge weaboo to the point it was pretty offensive tbh

like she's a quarter japanese but she's super super weaboo and not v. sensitive and i basically just don't like her.

once upon a december (it was february, actually), my bro invited her to his birthday and he and his bros were going to stay the night and play a video game online

unforunately one of his "bros" ended up being "her" and her friend and idk how it is with american families but in conservative asian families, high school girls aren't supposed to stay the night

at high school boys' houses

and that was a huge huge huge thing that happened and is pretty important context for this current update

so she's in college now and she went to an art school. that's cool, really. but her parents basically told her if she went there, she was on her own and stuff because they wouldn't deal with it!!!

and that really sucks.

she wanted to come back to town to visit friends for halloween. which is natural.

but she can't really stay at home so

my bro

told her she could stay at our house during that weekend

oh god i feel where this is going

and implied he would pick her up

and sort of just dropped the bomb on me like "hey do you need the car that weekend?" "maybe, i normally hang with my friends but i can get a ride from one."

"ok well i need to pick up (girl)" "in charlotte??? that's a 2.5 hour drive. why?" "well she's staying with us." "uhm"

and im like "did you tell mom" and he's like "not yet"

so i sit him down and i tell him how that's just not going to happen and sorry if he promised her that and i'm sorry for her situation but we seriously won't house her

and he argued "well, we did it for your friend."

my friend was a female childhood friend that personally asked my mom and me for permission.

explaining this to my bro, he didn't understand it.

like i told him if it was a really really big deal, i would suck it up and let him pick her up but i wasn't going to like it and she wouldn't be able to stay because wtf is she going to go?

my friend and i shared a bed. there is no way in hell his friend is sleeping with him, my mom wouldn't be so rude a hostess as to make a guest sleep on the couch, and i'm not sharing a bed with a stranger

and he's like "she can sleep in my bed and i'll sleep in the living room" and im just like hahaha no fuck that stop jumping through hoops for this girl who hasn't done shit for you

another reason i dislike her is because i'm pretty sure she's only into him because asian cred and he buys her shit
