sat under the tree, enjoying the weather. He liked the rain, even if it seemed dreary to others. He noticed the other, and wondered how far he had to run. He wouldn't want him to get too wet...
covering his papers as best he could though it still wasn't helping. Luckily the library wasn't too far away, if only the rain wouldn't worsen he'd be okay.
tried to get his attention so he could join him under the tree for a bit. It'd at least give him a break from the rain, until it let up a bit.
saw the other out of the corner of his eye and stopped up for a short second, trying to see if he recognised the man gesturing to him. He couldn't really see anything through the rain though, at least not
properly, so he decided to jog over to him to see if he knew the man, and besides, it looked drier under the tree, so he'd be sheltered from the rain if only for a short while.
smiled when he came towards him. "Hej. Crazy weather, eh? I love the rain though. If I wasn't worried 'bout gettin' sick I'd be runnin' round in it." He watched as it started to pick up.
brought a hand up to wipe at his glasses when he got over to the other and frowned when he didn't recognise him. "I'm sorry, but did you want something? I'm in sort of a hurry and I thought you were someone
I knew... is there any reason you gestured for me to come over here?"
chuckles a bit. "I just figured it's better to have company under a tree than to be alone. Besides, the rain seemed to be gettin' to yer notes. Wouldn't wanna loose any important data, ja?"
frowned and looked down the papers in his arms. He shook his head, "I guess not.."
leaned against the trunk of the tree. "It shouln't last too long thankfully. This place has constantly changin' weather... I just kinda wish it was snowin' instead of rainin'. I can deal with that perfectly."
wrinkled his nose at the thought of snow. "I would prefer if there was no snow nor rain at all.."
blinks at him. "Really? I think snow's awesome. So much fun to play in, as long as ye're dressed warmly enough for it... and I always have a sweater on, so I'm ready to embrace it with open arms~"
almost cringes at the mental images. "It is not. It goes everywhere and makes everything wet and cold. It's terrible, really."
smirked and playfully punched him. "Seriously, ye hate the snow? I gotta show ye how to enjoy it properly then. Ye're missin' out, man."
frowned and switched the books into his other arm so he could bring his free arm to rub at the spot the other had hit at. "I doubt it really."
smiles. "Just wait. When we get snow, I'll show ye~ It's bound to come at some point. The weather is almost cold enough for it."
scowled at the other. "I don't even know you, why would you keep on insisting that we are to meet later? And even be friendly enough to get me to enjoy frozen water particles?"
chuckles. "This school is small, I'm bound to find ye again. Besides, we're bondin'. I guess ye don't socialise much, do ye?"
rolled his eyes before settling a blank stare on the other. "No, I don't. Whatever gave that away?" he asked, tone thick with sarcasm as he resisted the urge to roll his eyes again.
smiles. "I can help with that too. What's yer name?"
raised an eyebrow in question before answering. "Ludwig Beilschmidt... why?"
smiles more and bounced a bit. "M'Søren. Nice to meet ye~"
watched the other with caution, though he did need to reply out of manners, though he was hesitant about it. "likewise.."
wiggled at that as he looked at the rain again. "Seems to be lettin' up. So yer headin' to the library? Do ye know where it is?"
nodded. "Yes, thank you.. I've been a student hear for a while now."
hums at that. "Makes sense." He walked out, looking up to the sky as the rain finally stopped. "What do ye study here?"
started to walk towards the library when the rain let up. "Law... why do you want to know?"
shrugs. "Just curious to see what everyone's doin' here. I met someone who was a professor of toxicology... 8am Monday classes, that'll be fun."
furrows his eyebrows as he walks and glances quickly at the other. "There's something wrong with 8am Monday classes?"
nods. "Ja. It's the mornin'. I don't like mornin' classes 'cause I can't sleep in."
"Why would you need to sleep in if you go to bed at a decent time the night before?"
chuckles. "I normally don't sleep till 4 or 5am. I'd love to be able to sleep earlier..."
rolls his eyes. "Then it's your own fault for not liking mornings."
stuck his tongue out. "I can deal with 'em. Just not when I have assignments duuuuue." He started walking with the other towards the library.
scowled. "You're one of those types that leaves everything until the last minute. Aren't you?"
shakes his head. "Well, I try not to. S'just I got a lot goin' on, and it just happens to end up that way."
shook his head and kept on walking towards the library. "If you say so."
hummed as he walked beside the other. "So. How long do ye plan to study in the library?"
shrugged. "Until I'm done."
nods a little. "I see. Mind if I join ye?"
"You can do whatever you want. It's a free country."
chuckles a bit. "Ja, but together. I like to study with others."
"Whatever. What do you study?"
hums as he got to the library. "Medical sciences. I want to be a doctor~ And do research studies."
"Well I fail to see how we could study together... but if you meant company then feel free, just don't pester me."
shrugs. "Company then. But also I need yer help. I get a little into studyin' and forget to eat and take breaks. So would ye mind remindin' me or somethin'?" He got to a secluded room for studying and closed t
"I doubt I'll be here that long, but I will kick you out when I leave if you want."
chuckles. "Good enough." He sat down and spread out all his books. Most were heavy and thick, and pretty intense. He got out his notebook after and started writing.
sat down on the opposite side of the desk than the other, keeping his books and notes in an orderly fashion, only opening the books he needed at that moment and keeping his notes neat.
moved constantly from book to book, being pretty unorganised visually but knew exactly what he wanted from what book. "Interestin'..."
tried to ignore the other as best he could, focussing solely on the pages in front of him and the sound of his pen scratching on across the page before him.
glanced over to the other now and again before he got back to working. He wanted to get as much studying done now as he could... even if it took him hours.
didn't even let his eyes wonder to the stranger once as he kept taking notes on the topic he was studying. He could feel the other's eyes casually glancing at him every now and again though, but he took no
continued to work for a few hours in silence, his stomach making sounds every now and again. He didn't notice on the other hand.
looked up when he heard the other's stomach growl. He waited for him to notice, shift a bit or something, but the other stayed as he was. Ludwig sighed and looked down at his work... He was almost finished, and
he had promised the other to keep him alive... With a final sigh he closed his books and gathered his notes, rising from the chair. "Alright Søren, break time."
blinks as he looked up. "Oh... oh right!" He laughed and finished off his sentence before standing up. "Great. I'm in need of coffee."
looked back down to the table. "Should we just leave the books here? It will be easier to run to the campus café if it's still raining without them..."
nods as he started out. "Ja. Generally people know better than to steal books. We just need our wallets. Ye gonna get somethin' to eat?"
glanced at his wrist watch and figured it was about time he should get some food. He nodded, "Ja, I probably should."
smiles and headed off to the cafe after making sure he had his wallet on him. "Man, I'm starvin'. I could eat a horse right now, or somethin'."
followed after, checking behind him before closing the door and walking through the library. "As long as you pay for it..."
rolls his eyes. "Obviously. I always pay for myself, as long as I remember to bring money with me."
hummed as he got to the cafe and looked at the food offered. He settled for a sandwich with some coffee.
took the same as the other, paying for it with a small smile for the young girl behind the counter before turning to Søren. "We eating here?"
nods. "Ja. Don't wanna go back to the room just yet." He went to a table and sat down, humming as he looked at his sandwhich. "This looks delicious..."
nodded and followed the other, sitting down opposite him. He shrugged, "I guess it does as sandwiches go."
chuckles. "Well, it's food. I don't really cook in my room. I barely even see it..." He dove right into his food, taking a few large bites.
nods as he takes a bit of his sandwich, chewing it in silence for a while before swallowing and asking "why don't you? See your room that much, that is."
shrugs. "I'm mostly in the library. I can't focus in my room that easily, and with the private study rooms here it's perfect. The only downside is I forget to leave. I've been there till 4am once."
couldn't help the rise of his eyebrows. "Wow you... You really get into your work, don't you?"
nods proudly as he ate more. "Mhm. I gotta work hard if I wanna become a doctor. And when someones life is in my hands, I wanna make sure I know exactly what I'm doin'. There's no retries with peoples lives."
nods. "That is slightly surprising, I'm not going to lie... I saw you as being the type that would only just do enough to get the grades you need to pass."
chuckles and shakes his head. "Far from it. Ye can't skip and pass with the bare minimum..." He finished off his sandwich and sipped his coffee. "Besides, I have a fiery passion for it..."
