took his time packing up before he made his way to the front of the class. He was a little tired compared to normal, but he wouldn't let that stop him from smiling and acting like he was fine.
looked up when there was only the sound of a single student still packing left in the classroom. Putting the papers aside, she called out to him, "Did you understand everything, Søren?"
smiled as he let down his bag beside her desk. "Ja. I think so. A few hours lookin' over my notes and goin' through the text book and I should be fine. I might not have tim to do it tonight, though..."
folded her hands at the small of her back, giving him all his attention. "Hm. If you have time before the next class, I could go through some of it with you now."
shakes his head as he sat on a desk. "Nej, but I appreciate that. I gotta get to my room and study. I have a paper due tomorrow that needs more research... Besides, I'm sure ye wanna relax."
frowned a little at his apparent slack on the paper, though she was sure he would get it done in time nonetheless. She moved to pick up the eraser and started cleaning off the whiteboard. "I always have time_
for my students. I understand that, though. I wish you luck on your paper."
chuckles a bit at that. "Tak. I shouldn't need the luck, but it's never a bad thing to have." He watched her a moment before sighing. "Ye know, maybe a quick look through wouldn't hurt. I have 20 minutes."
hummed in agreement as she went over the whiteboard with one last stroke, before putting the eraser back in place. "You have enough wits to manage fine without it." She commented, then turned back to him _
and nodded, "Good." Picking up the text book, she flipped it open at the start of the chapter and put it back down on the desk. "Draw up a chair and tell me where to begin."
did as she asked, finding the nearest chair and sat beside her desk. "How 'bout... here. This subject stuff was kinda where I lost track of what was goin' on..."
| "Ah, right. Let's take it from here then..." She began a few paragraphs prior, to make sure he understood the basics before delving into the details he'd pointed out. She guided him through what they had _
time for, and made sure he could discuss it with her instead of her doing all the talking.
did his best to explain what he thought the subject was about. He smiled when he was right, but pouted when he didn't quite get it. He was at least glad he was a fast learner, so it didn't take too long for him
to get the hang of the subject.
had quickly noticed his quick wit and been impressed when she had first started teaching him. She was happy to help him out when he got stuck, though. A glance at her watch told her eighteen minutes had gone. _
"It seems you must be off. I hope this wasn't a waste of time, Søren."
blinked and looked at his clock, quickly getting up after. "Ah, tak for the reminder." He tilted his head and smiled widely. "Of course it wasn't a waste. I feel better knowin' what's goin' on now. I won't eel
*feel left behind next class."
wanted to note where he had needed help, thinking she should go through a quick repetition of it the next lesson in case more of the students struggled too. She glanced up at him, and immediately felt a bit _
awkward being smiled at like that. "Well, that's good. I'm glad I could be of help." She managed to twitch the corner of her lips upwards, then quickly busied herself with finding a bookmark from her _
drawer. "I hope your researching goes well."
nods as he started to leave, waving to her as he needed to get going. "Tak~ And tak again for the help. It meant a lot to me."
slipped the bookmark between the pages and closed the book, then put it in her bag. She looked up to him and raised her hand in return. "You only have to ask. Good bye."
"Farvel~" He left the room and went to his next class. He always loved her way of teaching, and how she'd stay behind to help those who haven't quite gotten it.
