I've changed the name of the panel slightly; let's just say it was much more on the nose than even my version.

The three of us giving the panel expected it to be a total shit show.

And........ it........ wasn't.

At all.

The three of us spent hours prepping for potential arguments we were going to get (I was very proud of my response to "we're growing with this content, why should we change" response)

And there was no antagonism.

The people who run the company came to the panel.

Half a dozen female employees came up to us afterward and gave us a variation of "Thank you so much, this needed to be said, I didn't know who could say it."

Three MALE employees approached me, specifically (interesting) to say "I expected a sermon, and instead you guys just laid it out. I'm with you."

This panel was the primary reason I came to this convention, and it ended up going far better than I'd ever hoped it could.

She's the one who had the guts to actually submit this panel topic to the first QMCON. I was just back up.
