didn't think the German could look any scarier. He had been in the area looking to pick something different up as a gift for his brother.

didn't mean too but frustration certainly had an effect on how he appeared to others.

hesitated before he went to say hello, he hadn't been spotted yet, but it would be rude to just walk the other direction.

blinks when the smaller male appears before him. He looks a little irritated but he does manage a small smile. "Hallo Iceland." He glances around curiously. "What brings you to Germany?"

raised a brow at him curiously and shrugs. "I was actually here to get something for my brother." That still felt odd to say. "How are you doing Germany?"

shrugs. "I've been better off but I can't complain. Do you need help finding this thing?"

thought about that and shrugged a bit. "If you have any suggestions."

shrugs, "just wanted to apologize for being gone?"

nods lightly at that. "You can never go wrong with some good beer. There is chocolates too but I would advise going to Belgium's house if you want some top quality chocolate." He had some good ones too but he

sure that Iceland's brother would prefer something of higher quality.

nods thoughtfully as he tucked his hands in his pockets. "Thank you, I might get him both."

him a very small smile. "Are you busy right now?"

shakes his head, he barely noticed the smile. He didn't think he'd seen the German do that much, but then he rarely saw him outside of meetings. "Not really."

that's fair, meetings usually gave him headaches and he didn't have much to smile about then especially with all the chaos. "Would you like to join me on my walk?"

considered that and nodded, "sure." He smiled a bit now, "so how are you doing Germany?"

starts walking at a leisurely pace. "I'm not bad, busy but I think that's normal for me." He smiles lightly. "How are things on your end?"

started walking next to him, smiling a bit. "Things are okay, I think."

taking him through a small park. "Okay is good. That's good to hear. It's better than what most nations can say."

enjoying the scenery, he was getting a bit distracted by all of it. "Yeah I agree, I mean I've been better, but you know I'm still here."

nods at that. "Hopefully it will continue going up hill. Did you want to go visit the zoo?"

hoped so as well. He looked over at him and smiled a bit more. "Zoo sounds fun," he'd had to leave his puffin at home, or more the bird hadn't been to keen on following him.

thinks it would be a fun excursion and it would get him in a better mood as well. "Have you ever been to the Berlin zoo?"

shakes his head and motions for him to lead the way. "Nope, but I've heard good things about it."

does so and heads straight for the train. "Well, I hope it meets your expectations in that case."

smiles again and followed him to the train. "I'm sure it will."

purchases them both a ticket and guides him onto the platform. "It's a bit of a ride. Here's your ticket just in case we get separated." He doubted that would be the case but it was best to be safe than sorry.

thanked him quietly as he took the ticket. "Ah you didn't have pay for me... thank you though."

shrugs. "It wasn't very costly." He says as the train pulls up and he's leading Emil on. "Any animal you have to see while we're there?"

followed him on and thought about the animals. "Polar bears... I kind of want to see those."

glad he brought it up. "Wonderbar~ That's one of my favourite areas to go visit." The ride isn't too long and there is a specific stop for the zoo that they get off at. Ludwig leads Emil towards the ticket

booth to buy them both one.

followed after him closely, he didn't really want to get lost here. When they got up to pay for their tickets he handed the cashier enough money for his own, not wanting Ludwig to pay for that.

blinks at the money being passed to the cashier and then offers enough for his part before they are let in. He plucks a small map from the front even though he didn't need it and passes it to

Emil. "You said Polar bear right." He's already heading in that direction.

thanked him for the map as he nods. ""Yeah, as long as that's cool with you."

's lip quirks up at the comment. "Of course, they're one of my favourite animals."

smiled a bit at that, "ah that's good then." He smiled and nodded as he followed him.

slows down when they arrive in front of the Polar Bear who seems to be laying by the pool of water.

looked a bit excited for a moment before he hid it, he moved closer to the exhibit and leaned over a rail to watch the bear.

had luckily for Emil been a little distracted with the bear. "He's handsome, hmm." He says as he leans on the railing to gaze at the bear who replaced Knut.

nods as he watched the bear, he was rather glad the other hadn't seemed to notice that. "He is."

was usually quite distracted in zoos. "He's only five years old." He says lightly, conversationally.
