Walked into the security office, wanton to check on a couple things and make sure the monitoring of the Red King was up to standards. He nodded at the officer sat at the desk, not yet noticing she was
almost drifting off on her post.
blinks quickly to attention and stands up from the monitor. "Hello, sir, is there anything I can help you with?"
quickly glanced at the monitors taking special notice of the one monitoring the stats of the Red King. "Keep an eye on that one.." he said nodding towards it once. "I have a feeling tonight might not end well."
"I have been. He set his last cell on fire. I have placed cuffs on him full time but using his powers. What will happen tonight?"
frowned as he watched the screen for a short moment before responding. "I don't know, but I don't think it will be anything good... Double the guard on the perimeter, tell them to be on the lookout."
frowns faintly. "I can order more patrols outside the building but I can't trust any of them in the high security hall. All the regular guards are more interested in getting the king killed."
took a moment to think about that before nodding once. "Do you have anything to propose instead?"
glances at the monitor before responding. "I think what ever you plan to do with him, it needs to be done as soon as possible. Keeping him like this is a drain on our resources. For now, I'll ask around for-
trustworthy guards. I am not a security guard and I need to get back to my other assignments."
nods once. "Of course... I can take the post now, you go back to your other duties, there is nothing I can do right now anyway."
nods slowly. "I've been monitoring his power usage when he sleeps. If it spikes, wake him or he'll set another fire."
"I know," he said with a small smirk, but added nothing else. "Thank you for your duty officer, you are relieved of your post."
watches him for a bit before starting to walk away. "If you need anything else, let me know."
"Thank you, I will." He replied with a city nod. "Have a good evening, officer."
hesitates before nodding and stepping out of the room. "Thank you."
