had been walking for a while, and lost track of where he was. He didn't know what territory he was in, but the area wasn't as familiar as other parts he knew well.
stares down a tree before running at it, taking a swing and yelling out, trying to get into a battle mindset. She wanted to push the sword as hard as she could to make sure it would last in battle.
tensed when he heard her yell out and instantly raised his hand, fire surrounding it. He calmed down when he saw her in the distance and just lowered his hand while the fire faded away.
spun around and attacked the tree again before backing away and transforming into a wolf. She runs at the tree before sniffing the air and hesitating. It smelled like her fight with the Red King and she didn't-
think it was just her memory...
smirked at that and whistled to get her attention. He put his hands in his pockets, mostly to show he wasn't going to attack her.
growls before turning back to normal. She watches him with the faintest hint of a frown. "What are you doing here?"
shrugs as he started walking towards her. "I was taking a walk. Is that allowed, or will I be arrested for it?"
narrows her eyes. "Not for walking. For injuring people, yes and you still have to face justice for your offenses."
rolled his eyes. "If ye guys did yer job properly I wouldn't have had to do any dirty work with my own hands. Besides, they're fine now. Just a few burns."
shakes her head. "It still doesn't matter, you shouldn't have done it."
"My clan comes before everything. If someone messes with one of us, they gotta deal with all of us." He tilted his head a bit as he glanced at her sword and smirked.
tightens her grip on the sword. "There are lawful ways of exhibiting loyalty. You are just a fool and a tyrant."
chuckles. "If I were a fool, I would have died long ago." He shook his head as he closed his eyes. "Don't bother with yer sword."
sighs. "Then you are a long lived fool." She watches him, wondering what he was doing and why he was even talking with her.
shrugs. "So yer King would say. He's taught ye well, I guess." He ran a hand through his hair before putting it back in his pocket. "Ye practicin' yer skills?"
doesn't respond to that. "What do you want?"
hums. "Not much. Just curious, I guess."
raises an eyebrow. "About what?"
licked his lips and tilted his head. "Is yer King still determined to get me behind bars?"
"I cannot speak on his behalf but we all either wish to see you behind bars or worse."
smirked as he pulled out a cig and lit it quickly with the flick of his hand. "Then I'm gonna make yer day."
tapped some ash off from his cig. "Let me finish this, then ye can take me in."
watches him, hiding her surprise. "Alright then."
looked to the sky as he took his time with the cig, but once he was done he tossed it to the ground and stepped on it. "Let's go."
raises an eyebrow but pulls out a set of handcuffs. "Hands behind your back."
sighs. "Seriously? I'm coming as a peaceful 'criminal'. I give ye my word I won't trick ye."
rolls her eyes. "You really expect me to trust you that easily?"
nods. "If ye understood the situation, ye would." He started walking back towards town. "Just cuff me when I get into the buildin'."
"Then what is the situation? Why are you doing this?"
shrugs as he looked up to the sky again. "M'tired."
sighs. "That doesn't mean I can trust you."
glanced to her. "Did ye happen to notice the state of my sword when we fought?"
doesn't look at him. She hadn't been paying much attention to that, it was taking all her energy to fight him.
sighed and lit another cig as they walked. "It's breaking up. The more over the limit I go, the more it breaks. It's a miracle it's not come crashin' down on me yet."
watches him carefully. "I still can't trust you not to try something. I can't be seen just bringing you in without them, you'll get ambushed."
hums. "Just outside ye can do it then." He tapped the ash off again. "If I was goin' in alone, it'd be worse. But the fact ye're here makes it easy. For the both of us."
"And what are you hoping to get when you turn yourself in?"
smirked as he finished his cig and tossed it away again. "Sleep."
doubted he'd get much rest if he turned himself in but she wasn't going to tell him that. "Fine. I'll take you in. When we get a block away, I'll cuff you."
nods as he put his hands in his pockets again. He knew he'd get sleep, since the Blue King was the only one who would be able to calm him, and knock some sense into him.
watches him for a bit before walking and signalling him to follow. "Stay at my side."
nods and did so, watching her closely as she walked.
keeps a close eye on him, still not trusting him.
knew he wasn't to be trusted, but he was beyond tired. He just wanted to rest, and this was the safest place for him, ironicaly enough.
didn't know what he was thinking and was a little worried this would be some trick but she knew the other Blue clan members would keep him from trying anything.
stopped when they were close and put his hands behind his back. "Let's get this over with."
raised an eyebrow but sets the cuffs around his wrists. An interface pops up over the lock and she enters a few things. The handcuffs lightly drained the power of whoever wore them and sent messages to the-
jail. "Alright, they know we are on the way."
already felt more tired the moment they were on. He didn't feel ashamed or anything, and just walked towards the area with her.
walks him towards the blue clan jail, a few other clam members approaching, thinking that she would need help keeping the King in custody.
just smirked, enjoying the fact that they think she'd need help. He didn't put up any resistance, and just kept his smile.
leads him into the jail, still keeping a close eye on him. The clan members all stared as she passed. She leads him to a small room. "Step inside. You will be scanned for weapons and contraband."
smirked and stepped inside without issue. He didn't have weapons on him, just a pack of cigarettes in his pocket. He only ever used his hands to fight.
pulls the pack of cigarettes out. "I will put these in storage for you. You may have them back when you leave."
nods as he watched her. "Ye think I'll actually be let outta here, not that I'm in? The Blue King has wanted me here for years."
shrugs. "I do not presume to know what the King will do. I will just follow procedure." She leads him back out of the room and sets the cigarettes in a locker in the hallway.
kept following her and her actions with his eyes. "I'm sure he'll be pleased to see me."
leads him further along the hallway and opens a door, revealing a cell. "Step inside."
did so without issue. He did look around, checking out what was in there. "Perfect."
There was a small bed tucked into a corner and a sink and toilet in the opposite corner. There were no windows and the lights were set into a ceiling panel out of reach. She stands at the door. "Walk backwards-
this way. Use of your powers in this room will be punishable."
hums as he walked backwards. "What if I get cold? Can I use 'em then?"
starts to remove his handcuffs. "There is a blanket, you can use that. We keep the temperatures at a comfortable level, it shouldn't be an issue."
nods and rubbed his wrists the moment the cuffs were off, glad to feel his powers return to normal. He turned and smirked to her. "Tak."
pulls the cuffs away and quickly shuts the door, locking him in.
kept smirking as he went to the bed and laid down, keeping his back to the door. He got what he wanted, and he wasn't going to waste his time now.
ignores a few people asking about the King and moves to the security desk to keep an eye on his cell.
kept to his word and stayed in the cell without any issue. He was just glad to be in a safe place.
still didn't understand why he turned himself in and didn't trust him.
knew that if he got into any more battles it could lead to devistation. He didn't want to risk it, and it kept his clan going. He didn't want to leave them leaderless.
would be glad to know he wasn't completely irresponsible.
liked to think of himself as the loaded gun that protected what needed to be protected.
just saw him as a loaded gun that needed to be locked away and kept from everyone else.
didn't completely mind. His clan could work without him, even with him locked away. This also helped in case he had any nightmares, he'd be at least monitored.
