continues sipping her wine, barely hiding her annoyance and frustration at having to be civil with him. She wanted nothing more than to strangle him right then and there but this was her last chance to prove-

herself to Dorthe. She frowns faintly when she catches sight of one of her freshly dyed locks. He seemed to be stupid enough to not realize it was her. She hoped that Dorthe and maybe Soren would show up soon-

standing right behind the Italian in amusement, clearly expecting him to follow through. She hummed contently with pleased look on her face as she spoke out to surprise him. " Velkommen."

yelps in surprise and quickly turns around. His hand goes for his gun but it wasn't there. "Chi-dammit!!"

watches them and pulls out a gun she had managed to take from him with a small smirk.

pats him on the head in a friendly fashion, " Don't worry, she's not going to use it." She didn't need him freaking out there.

only now notices the gun and frowns. "H-hey! That's my gun. What's going on here?"

puts the gun in her purse for now.

pulled a seat for him as she sat down on the next one over. " You'll get it back later, now sit down. We're here to have fun, ja?"

sits down cautiously, not trusting either woman. "Just tell me what you want so we can get this over with."

smiles as she waved for a waiter, " Nothing. I just wanted to invite you to join us for a good night."

stares at her. "Really? I don't believe that."

nods, " I am the person of my word after all. So what would you like to drink?"

rolls his eyes. "I'll just have some wine if you have any."

nods to the waiter to get a good wine. " So, how can I convince you that there's nothing shady that's going to be happening here?"

sighs. "By telling me what you want without all this show."

blinks, confused by his insistence, " So you don't know who I am then?"

rolls her eyes. "Of course I know who you are. You're Dorthe from the Nordic Mafia, I spoke to you the other day."

smiles, " Just making sure." She chuckled, " Aside from that, I was just wondering if you wanted to do some joint operations once in a while against some other groups."

watches her for a while. "And what would be in it for me? My family doesn't act against any other groups for no reason. We get along with every one else as long as they leave us alone."

wrinkles her nose, " A strong family to back you up~?"

"We've never had any need for anyone else to back us up." That wasn't quite true, they'd been relying on the Russians for a while but he wasn't even going to admit that to himself.

smiles, " Really now?"

nods. "Besides, my family doesn't engage in violence unless we need to. If your idea of operations against other groups requires us to do so, I will have to decline. If you want to work out some kind of trades-

shrugs as she sipped on her drink, " Whoever said I was going to be violent or have my group conduct those activities? You're quite odd jumping to such conclusions."

narrows his eyes at her. "You are the one who had some of my top men murdered by that bitch for no good reason!!"

blinks and looks between the other two at being brought up.

raised a brow, " What are you talking about? I never killed anyone nor was I even there." There was a reason she often kept her hands clean.

rolls his eyes. "No, you didn't kill them, your little songbird did. I know it was her, one of my men saw her lead away my second in command and he was found dead!"

pouts, " So you're just going to frame an innocent without any evidence? I don't like jumping to conclusions, ja?"

glares at her. "You admitted that you had her kill them last time we spoke!"

...sighs faintly. "I did not kill any of them." Which was true enough...

blinks, " To be honest I kept my word and had her sent home to recuperate. I'm not a person who doesn't plan things."

"Regardless, you've had my men killed in the past so why I should believe that you don't want to engage in violence?"

smiles, " Think about it, what's the benefit in my family being aggressive right now?"

shrugs. "I don't know what you are planning and I don't trust you."

wrinkled her nose, " I'm not planning anything."

raises an eyebrow. "Then why do you need my help?"

shrugs, " You look like you need my help more."

starts to stand with a scoff. "We do not need any help."

growls under her breath and points the gun at him. "You will not stand until she is done speaking to you."

yelps and sits down right away.

waved at her to put it away, " No violence for today. It's suppose to be a fun day after all, ja?"

rolls his eyes. "I fail to see what is so fun about any of this."

reluctantly puts the gun away and settles down in her seat.

waves for the server to bring in the food, " I'm sure you don't have much of a budget lately from all the expenses you've made recently. I think a warm filling meal is good to go home with."

shrugs. "I don't know what you are talking about." He had been spending a lot of money lately mostly dealing with the damage the Nordics had done.

smiles as she had asked for the cook to make food that was from the other's culture. " Alright but don't worry about it being poisoned or not. I had someone come from your home country to cook for you."

stares at the food. It all looked and smelled really good, he couldn't resist eating. "Let's say we did help each other out. What would you want from us?"

shook her head, taking another sip from her wine. " Simple: Order. We help you regain some lost territory from the recently rising groups only if you're willing to keep control of those areas."

eats his food in silence for a while as he considers the deal. He drinks some wine before speaking again. "And you'll keep everything above board, yes? No spying, no sending pretty girls to kill my men?" He-

glances over at Trudie, letting her know that he did finally realize who she was.

smiles as she started to eat from her own plate of food to let the information sink in. She wasn't a fake this time and she was sincere in her workings...most of the time.

finishes his food and sits back with a sigh. This was a great chance for him to get his land back but he wasn't so sure he could trust her.

a woman of her word. She didn't use violence unless it was required. She ate slowly while watching him, " Did you meal meet your standards?"

shrugs. "It was decent." He really liked it and he couldn't remember the last time he had ate food that tasted that good.

smiles, " Is there anything else you'll like to eat? I can have it prepared for you immediately."

sits back in his chair. "I could probably eat some more." He wasn't going to flat out ask for it.

waved for the waiter to bring another serving to him. " Have as much as you like."

nods slowly. "Thanks." He glances between the two women. Trudie was avoiding looking at him and staying silent.

smiles warmly, " So I've heard you've been quite nice to my little birdie here. I have to admit, I would've been unhappy if I found her hurt anymore than as depicted in the picture."

sighs and sips at his wine. "I don't hurt women if I can help it. Some of my men were understandably upset with what she had done but I wasn't going to let them go too far."

frowns faintly as she is mentioned. She appreciated that he hadn't hurt her and had even helped clean her up after the picture but she was still upset at having been caught so easily.

gestured over to Gjertrud. " Well I do not wish for any more misunderstandings so I'll have her to be the one to mediate between our two families."

blinks in surprise. "I haven't agreed to the deal yet."

manages to keep from frowning deeper. She didn't trust the Italians and certainly didn't want to spend more time with them.

nods, " I'm waiting for your decision then." She wanted Gjertrud in that position not only to hold leverage but also give her a higher and more favourable position..

narrows his eyes at Dorthe for a while. "I suppose I wouldn't mind working with your family."

knew it would be a good position and wouldn't protest but she wasn't entirely happy about it just yet. She sips at her wine carefully.

had finished her food by then and the table cleared as one of her men brought a contract for him to read carefully and sign. " Read first. There is nothing unexpected." She treated this more like a business.

raises an eyebrow. He hadn't expected there to be an actual written contract. He grumbles to himself as he reads.

waited patiently as she had dessert served.

finishes reading the paper before signing it and setting it aside.

smiles with a positive nod as her men took the contract away from the table. " Now then,if you require any resources you can speak to Gjertrud or come straight to me." She paused. " The real me."

nods and glances at Gjertrud again, a little worried about his men would react to working with the Nordics. He looks back to Dorthe with a questioning look. "What, is there more than one of you?"

shook her head, " I'm me. The last time we met I had someone else in my stead as a precaution."

stares before looking away. "I thought something was strange, you contradicted some of what you had said then."

raised a brow, " Like what?"

"Your imposter admitted that you ordered Trudie to kill my men."

shrugs, " I don't recall that at all."

sighs. "You don't have to lie about it, I know what happened by now and she didn't bother hiding it."

blinks, " She? That was a guy in drag if I remember right."

frowns ever so slightly. "But I didn't kill them. I didn't kill anyone at that party."

......stands. "I think it is time for me to leave..." He was doing his best at staying stoic despite his growing embarrassment at not realizing the imposter was a guy.

motions for him to sit back down. " Now let me get this straight, you're still accusing my friend here of killing your men?"

sighs but sits back down. "Yes, she was seen spending a lot of time with some of the more powerful men in my family and I know for certain she poisoned one of them. He went home with her and the next morning-

narrows his eyes. "They were not double agents, they were some of my most trusted family and friends. Some of them I knew had spilled our secrets but the rest were loyal. Yes, you killed the one double agent-

rubbed her temples, " So you're still going to whine to me constantly about something I can't do anything about then?" She stately truthfully.

shakes his head. "I just think there is no point in you trying to hide it anymore. What's done is done and I'm willing to work with you. I don't expect you to do anything about it and I have already moved on."

nods, " I have nothing to hide and I hope that you don't either in the future."

nods in agreement. "I have nothing to hide."

smiles with a proper nod, " So are you going to eat dessert or not?"

settles back down to eat some dessert.

finishes her wine and sets her glass aside. She still wasn't too happy about working with the Italians...

wondered if they'll ever get along.

would do her job without showing her feelings. She didn't think it was necessary for her to get along with the Italian.

had faith in them. It was all part of her grand scheme after all.

wondered what grand scheme required them to work with a group that was previously their enemy but she wouldn't act out of line and she would do her best to follow orders.

would reveal it to the other when time came around.

hoped it would be soon if it would make her feel differently about the Italians.

figured only time would tell. She hoped that the other would come to understand eventually.

finishes his dessert and glances at the other two. "Anything else or can I go now?"

shook her head, " Up to you if you want to stay or not."

sighs and rubs the back of his head. "I think I have had enough for one day, thanks. I'm leaving."

got up and extended her hand to him for a hand shake, " Alright then."

accepts her hand and shakes it before lightly bringing her hand to press a light kiss to it, more out of habit than anything else. She was a pretty girl after all, even if she was a bit scary.

chuckles, finding it different but she respected the gesture. " I'll ensure that you get back safely."

shrugs. "I think I can manage it on my own."

nods gesturing tothe open doors for him. She respect the other to some degree.

starts to walk out and takes the gun that Gjertrud returns to him. He still wasn't too sure about all of this but if it kept everyone from fighting, he'd be content.

sits back down and glances over at Dorthe, watching her.
