what's really funny is I was determined I wasn't going to pay $6k for a house, and I bought so many other houses, I'm sure I spent over $6k

I ended up getting the house anyway because I couldn't find anything I liked better. it was driving me crazy. So I just said, "fuck it" and bought it, and I loooove it haha
