shifts onto his stomach using the pillow to cover his face from the sun.

groans a bit. "Usually I am..." He turns around to glance up at her smiling lightly. "That smells nice."

props himself up and leans forward kissing her lightly. "I don't usually have someone exhausting me every night." He knew it was a lot his fault but he couldn't help but tease.

sits up properly fixing the sheets better around his waist before taking the mug. "It's refreshing." He says while takin in the aroma. "Is this homemade?"

chuckles at the tone before taking a sip. "It's really good." It really was. "Nice getting a hot drink in bed." He adds.

had almost woken up when she wiggled her way from out of his arms. "What time did you wake up at? I remember you moving around a lot but didn't manage to stay awake too long for your escape."

would have been pleasantly surprised but he's more than happy with the cinnamon. "I hope it wasn't too obvious? My stress."

thinks she did an exceptional job. He feels much more relaxed. "I'll remember that. Want to join me for a bit." He says patting the spot beside him.

wraps an arm around her loosely as he quietly enjoys the company and drink.

can imagine it's a rare sight. "You might want to take a picture." He jokes. "It might be a long time from now the next time you see me like this."

laughs. "There are other ways too if you're not in the mood." He was just a very physical person and so physical activities really unwind him.

notices that and feels at a small disadvantage that she was dressed and he wasn't buy ultimately doesn't care too much. "Exercise. Hiking, cycling, running....and the odd times baking or cleaning."

feels like it makes him sound like a dog needing to be taken out. "It's been a while but that would definitely be one way of helping."

nods. "Gilbert taught me everything he knew and knows. Although, I won't lie at the turning of the century we focused more on gun fighting rather than swords."

smiles at this. "I've always gotten a thrill when I come across another sniper. It's a live chess match and the guessing game is what thrills me. But, I enjoy the physicality of swordplay."

shakes his head. "Usually they end up dead." He says but intrigued about the next part. "With all that adrenalin I'm not at all surprised."

reaches over to his nightstand and places the mug down before settling back in his previous position. "Let me know when you want to go out for a trial."

nods. "I'd sometimes go shooting with Tino." He was found of winter shooting as well.

smiles lightly. "Can I tell you a secret?"

lowers his voice mostly for the effect. "I sometimes train and go on missions with my military. Gilbert doesn't know this...actually no one does. But I do go out with them...I miss the

battlefield." Sometimes he felt it made him sound barbaric but he had been raised to be a military might.

nods. "There's a bond you have with them that can never be replicated. I just know if I'm out there with them at least I know they'll be safe to a degree."

doesn't think she has to worry too much. "My military only aids on peacekeeping missions." There were other ones but those were top secret.

kisses her back pulling her tight against him in a reassuring embrace. "I'll be careful."

quirks a brow. "But why?" He shifts again resting his head against her shoulder and wrapping his arms around her waist liking this position because she could play with his hair more easily.

hums lightly closing his eyes. "I can assure you that you don't have to worry too much about me." That however didn't mean he wasn't going to worry about her any less even if she tells him not too.

sighs. "I know, I'd just be more at ease if I knew you were at peace." The light caresses could easily cause him to sleep again but he wasn't tired anymore so he quietly enjoyed them.

is a little startled by the action. "Ja, of course. I don't like being careless." He was being completely serious.

smiles lightly and kisses her back. "I hope you know that I'm holding you to the same thing."

slowly begins to untangle himself. "I should probably take a shower." He says with a yawn.

stretches as he gets up and chuckles at that. "No, I wouldn't." He agrees making his way to the bathroom. He stops at the door frame turning around. "Thank you for the drink, it was really good."

smiles and disappears into the bathroom to get ready.

does stay under the spray for a little bit but other than that he didn't take very long. He was out, dressed and hair styled back before stepping into the kitchen. "What is this? The fourth time

you've cooked for me?"

smiles. "It's a good combination. I like both sides." He says as he takes a seat, his stomach growling when he smells the food.

thinks someone would have to be crazy not too. "You will be joining me right?"

thinks she would have to ask to find out. "Good." He liked company when he eats. When the food is in front of him he waits until she's sitting before digging in.

quirks a brow when he feels her foot nudge him. His lip curves up amused as he nudges her back while still enjoying the food quite thoroughly.

nods. “You have a special touch in the kitchen.“ He compliments since he hasn‘t a single bad dish from her.

knows that all too well. The man gave him a headache whenever he came over for dinner. “Oh, I know.“

rolls his eyes. Well was an understatement. "I think I have his eating habits memorized."

that's probably because he's not very picky at all. There were foods he preferred but he generally tried anything. "I'm glad to hear that. I'm not nearly as picky as him. So you want ever have to worry."

would actually like that. "What time? If I start now on my work I could definitely come over."

nods at that as he gets up and decides it's a good time to start on the dishes. "In that case I'll start on my work and see you at six thirty."

passes her the wet dishes and shakes his head a little at the comment. "I can't make any guarantees." He says thinking about his work. "But you make sure to have one for me."

so too. He goes to dry his hands and makes sure the rest of the kitchen was to his standards. "Commitment to our work and it'll get done."

smiles back. "Ja, this is true." He kisses her back as he walks her to the door.

her one last kiss before nodding and watching her leave before closing the door and immediately going to his work.
