Does anybody else have any recipes that they've made dozens of times, but every time you cook it you find you do the recipe slightly differently?

Tomato sauce. I stick to the same recipe but every time I make it, I add something different.

I should mention, it's more of an outline for a recipe than a strict recipe. That's largely why it changes all the time. But I'll try to give it some specificity for you.
