also look up greyhound, they do pittsburgh-NY routes and if you book them early enough in advance they only cost $10

plus they're generally better than megabus, they leave from actual terminals and go on time.

(also I'mma check if my mom will be home that weekend so that we can actually stay here for free and only pay for transport to the con)

speaking of quality though you mentioned i needed to seal the paint on my costume WHICH I WAS NOT AWARE I HAD TO DO what sort of thing even gets used as a sealer for fabric paint

If it didn't crack at Otakon, chances are you're fine. acrylics and fabric paints usually seep into stuff like spandex

and then it dries real well so it's fine

oh i thought you said you had to seal fabric paint

it's kind of rubbed off a little bit around the seams near the arms but it's a really small area so it's super easy to touch up, I have leftover paint.

like, the parts where you cut it off!

the parts that you cut apart, seal those with some clear nail polish, and that'll keep it from fraying

oh. well i haven't had any problems with fraying anyway hahaha but i can do that
