[Event] woke up early the next morning and glanced over at the calm face of the Dane next to him, who was still sleeping soundly. He quietly got up from his spot and grabbed his pack, before setting out to
collect firewood, so that they could maybe have some decent breakfast.
didn't wake up when the other left right away, but the light from the rising sun got to him and he yawned while rubbing his eyes. He smiled sleepily and looked to the side "God morgen, Over all-, I mean, Ludw-"
he quickly noticed that the other wasn't there, and shot up, looking around in an almost panic. The adrenaline was coarsing through his veins, and he gripped the cold ground, trying to calm himself. He knew he
couldn't scream out for the other, or else he could get caught, but right now that was all he wanted to do.
only about a hundred meters away from where they'd camped, going about his job as quietly as he could, just in case anyone should be in the forest.
expected him to be right there with him, so he was paranoid he was gone. He crawled to the edge of their little clearing and looked around, putting a hand over his heart when he noticed where the other was. He
tried to quickly force the adrenaline away, wanting himself to look calm and relaxed, just like he ha just woken up
finished gathering enough wood to make a decent fire and started to head back to the large tree, not being as quiet as he should have probably been, but not caring too much, he was just hungry.
smiled as he watched him come back, acting sleepy. He move some branches out of the way so the other wouldn't get attacked in the face. "If every mornin' I get breakfast in bed like this, I won't complain."
laughs. "Breakfast still isn't made yet." he said, ducking under the branches and dumping the wood down before placing his pack up against the trunk and started rummaging through it for some soup he new he had.
shrugs. "Still, soon there will be, and I didn't have to do anythin'." He watched the other as he went to lean up against the trunk. "... Need any help?"
"You can start building the fire whilst I look for the breakfast..." he said, head still stuck in his pack as he fished around among the extra blankets and spare pair of boots for the food.
nodded and got the wood organised, ready to light it when the other found the food. He got the adrenaline levels down, and was now back to normal again.
