I really liked it and respected their choice given all things that were against them in making this.

I LOVE KAIJU

Over 3 hours of script was cut, it used a butt ton of eastern story tropes, mainly from anime. And it had to find a way to convey itself to American dumb audiences. This the really flat characters

And individualistic plot instead of a communal one. The action scenes were great except for the stuff with rain. Tldr: it had a lot of stupid Hollywood-indications in it, but I applaud them for bringing Eva and

Gurren Lagann and a few other anime's tropes to the big screen. I really want it to do well so that eastern things start getting more recognition.

Also fucking Jaegars vs. Kaijuu. That's what the robots and monsters are called. I fucking flipped my shit
