The Badwater Marathon goes from Badwater Basin (the lowest point in North America) to the top of Mt. Whitney (the highest point in California), which means you go from -282 feet to 8,360ft over 135 miles.

So far they're only calling for temperatures to be in the 90s. Badwater Basin, btw, is in Death Valley.
