time to paint trim/accent on the house. Brick mostly, but it is sort of a darker (for brick) yellowish buff. I can't figure out what to paint the trim! Nothing seems to go with the brick. HELP!

Purple/lilac, if you like those colors. Otherwise, a muted turquoise might work.

It is currently deep brown. This goes really well, but it looks drab, depressing, uninviting.

And I have seen aqua/turquoise with the brick color elsewhere, www.plurk.com/StereoNach... It too goes pretty well, but it is a little garish.

My landlord had it pale yellow, and she said it looks good. She also had it pink (!!) once.

There is also a house in town with very similar brick, that the accent is painted a violet. I don't care for it, personally.

Neutral white, ivory, cream for trim but give the front door a punch of color to invite people in.
