we kept Miss Lucy (aka Miss Mutt) in the bathroom last night, locked away safe and sound with her favorite toys, a big dish of water and a comfy bed.
as a result she did not lick a sore spot into her foot this year. In fact, it looks like she hardly licked her feet at all (she's a foot licker when she's feeling upset). I think we have found a successful
4th of July plan.
