the guards carefully. When she sees the guard walk away, she sneaks in and looks at the prisoners. Her heart sinks and she grabs a set of keys, using them to get into one of the cells and start treating the-
the prisoner. It doesn't take long for her to be caught and thrown out. The next morning, one of the other nurses warns her that Gjertrud was to be arrested. She frowns and grabs her things, changing into her-
civilian dress before setting out, heading for the Gondwana camp. She had to tell someone what she had learned. Her heart races as she follows her usual path between the camps, freezing when she hears a click-
Her eyes glance at the ground and she sees recently moved dirt under her feet. She couldn't move...
walking through the area, looking to see if his normal routes were targeted for traps now or not. He started going down an unknown but used path, being careful of it. When he hear someone running through the
forest he tensed and hid, waiting to see who would emerge. When he heard the classic sound of the click though he froze.
tried to stay calm. As long as she didn't shift her weight, she could keep the mine from exploding. It wasn't a very good long term strategy...
slowly approached the area, hearing that the bomb hadn't gone off. When he saw a figure he moved quicker. He hadn't noticed it was her yet, however. "Hey, don't move..."
tenses when she hears him. Her heart races a little, worried, but the bomb doesn't go off. She slowly reaches for her gun.
shakes his head. "Nej, it's okay. I want to help ye..." He got out from the forest and in view of her.
frowns at him. "No. Stay away."
shakes his head. "I gotta help." He stopped though when he noticed it was her, and frowned, feeling his heart sink a bit. "... Gjertrud...?"
sighs quietly and points the gun at him. "Don't come any closer."
looked at her to the gun before taking his pack off and walking closer to her.
...points the gun at herself. "Soren... Don't."
stopped instantly. "W-... what are ye doin'?" He had his hand out towards her, wondering what she was thinking.
"I'm on a mine, Soren. If I move, we both..." She frowns. "Just go away..." She didn't want Soren to risk anything to help her.
kept looking at her, swallowing quietly before walking closer to her.
shakes her head. "No! Stay away from me!"
shakes his head. "I'm goin' to help ye. Now, ye can stop me by shootin' yerself, but then we'll both die."
frowns but slowly puts the gun away. "Soren. Stop, please..."
shakes his head as he hugged her carefully. "I told ye... ye're my friend. I don't leave friends behind."
doesn't hug him back, she just stands limp in his arms. "Soren... You really are an idiot..."
strokes her hair lightly. "Ye must be terrified..." He had no idea how she even felt right now.
frowns. "Soren? I need to ask you something..."
didn't want to move, keeping close to her. "What is it?"
sighs quietly. "Why... why does Gondwana fight Laurasia? We... we were always told that all of the soldiers in Gondwana are ruthless and will kill anyone without a thought and that is why we are at war... But-
frowns a little. "The same reason for any war. Conflictin' political powers that try to take aggressively from another..."
"Soren... I..." She clenches her fists. "Laurasia's planning something terrible and doing terrible things..."
frowns as he leaned back a bit to look at her. "What... what do ye mean?"
frowns and looks at the ground. "They are torturing prisoners and... I think they're trying to make new weapons. They're planning on targeting civilians soon..."
tensed at that. "... Gjertrud, I know ye're on their side but... I can't... I can't let that happen. I don't mind that they fire at us, since we're soldiers. But the moment the battle leaves the battlefield,
and moves onto civilians, I can't stand for it."
shakes her head slowly. "No... I'm not on their side anymore... If I go back, they'll kill me. You need to go warn them."
frowns. "What did ye do...?" He was secretly hoping she'd join his side now, but didn't want to think about it at this time.
sighs quietly. "I helped a few prisoners and listened in on a top secret meeting... They're looking for me right now, I barely escaped."
nods a little. "Good... now, let's get ye out of here." He stepped back and went to grab his pack.
shakes her head. "Go ahead and warn them. If both of us die here, it will be useless."
smirks a bit. "Neither of us will die." He got his pack in front of him and crouched before her. "Now, on the count of three, jump to the side."
's eyes go wide. "A-are you sure this will work?"
nods. "If I move quick enough, and get the bag down soon after, it'll compress the bomb..."
shakes her head. "No, I don't want to risk it..."
smiles up to her. "Trust me. I have a lot in here that'll keep me safe."
frowns at him. "Soren... please. Just go... I'm dead no matter what but if you died..."
continued to smile. "What kind of talk is that? Come on. The sooner we're done this, the sooner we can get ye to safety. Ye can tell the captains yerself about what ye heard." He looked back to the
hold her breath in fear, shaking her head. "I-I can't..."
shifted closer to her. "If ye want, lean forward now and put a hand on my back. When I count to three, push off it."
frowns but rests her hand on his shoulder. "If we die, I'm going to kill you..."
chuckles. "Ye'll have yer chance when we're back at camp... now." He took a deep breath before starting to count down. "Tre... to..."
closes her eyes and tenses up, lifting her leg quickly away from the mine when it was time.
held his breath as the moment her feet left the area and dove onto the spot with his bag, putting pressure on it to make sure it didn't fly away. He clenched his eyes shut, ready for an explosion that would
blow him away, though all that seemed to happen was a bit of a ripple of the Earth under him.
holds her breath for a while before setting her foot down away from the mine.
slowly opened his eyes and carefully moved away from his pack, thankfully unharmed. "... Either we're lucky, or ye stood on it so long that the trigger got rested off balance from the spark..."
opens her eyes and finally breaths before slumping to the ground next to him, her emotions finally getting to her.
glanced over to her, noticing the shock start to set in. "I can get a medical team out here, or I can carry ye back. But the sooner we move, the better."
blinks at him. "Soren, I can't go to Gondwana either..."
nods as he got up. "Ja, ye can. Ye're a refugee."
"But I was a spy, they won't believe anything I tell them."
nods. "They will. They trust me, and know I wouldn't lead 'em estray... I can even tell them, and ye be there as proof."
quietly inched his pack away from the bomb, successfully getting it and putting it on his back. "Need help walkin'?"
shakes her head and slowly stands up. "I can do it."
nodded and waited for her before starting to walk. "We gotta tell them when we get to camp..."
nods and walks with him, watching closer for any signs of mines.
made sure to look out for it, knowing it could end them, and he didnt want any more surprises.
watches her steps carefully as she walks.
glad to see the camp in the distance, knowing there wouldn't be mines this close to camp.
still keeps an eye out, not knowing how close they were.
grabbed her arm lightly and walked with her to the officers tent, demanding he needed to tell them something. They could tell by the determined look in his eyes that it was important and headed in to talk to
them, bringing her with him.
blinks around at everyone, a little frightened and intimidated.
kept her close before telling them what she told him. They nodded a little, but then asked her to clarify and give them details.
hesitates before answering their questions, scared that they wouldn't believe her or remember her as the nurse in one of the medical tents.
thought the situation seemed important enough that they couldn't not listen to her. He stayed by her side, informing them that she was a nurse. Nurses always heard a lot.
clarified that she was nurse for the Laurasian army. She was mostly worried that they would listen and then kill her or send her to prison...
watched the look on the commanders faces as they looked and talked quietly to each other. He knew it was a risk bringing her, but he thought it was better off this way. They decided to lock her up for now, and
be under surveillance, but she would not be treated as a prisoner of war. It was just to ensure she didn't go back to the Laurasian army.
frowns but doesn't protest. At least she would be safe there...
frowned when she was taken by guards to the prison, while he was kept back to explain himself as to why he trusted and brought her in.
hoped he wouldn't tell them she was a spy... She is brought to a small cell and shut inside. With a small sigh she sits in a corner and hugs her knees close. She freezes when she remembers that she had her-
Gondwana nurse uniform in her bag that was confiscated...
held there for a few hours before being freed. He headed straight to the cell after to go see her.
hears someone walking towards her and hides her face against her knees.
smiled faintly when he got to the cell, nodding to the guard who was stationed there. The guard wasn't going to leave, but he was at least glad to see her. "Hej..."
takes a deep breath when she hears him and ignores him.
frowns. "Hey... I'm sorry this happened... but it's only until they confirm that yer information is true..."
sighs quietly. "No, it's fine. I'm safer here anyways."
nods a little. "They found the Gondwana uniform in yer bag..."
tightens her grip on her knees and stays silent. She figured that the first thing they would do is search her bag...
put his hands on the bars lightly. "I told 'em how ye got it..."
blinks up at him. "What do you mean?"
smiles. "I gave it to ye, since ye were a refugee and wanted to help us."
fidgeted a bit. "Like I said, they plan to free ye the moment their information is confirmed..."
pauses before standing up and walking up to the bars.
didn't look up to her, worried he might have done something wrong.
places her hands over Soren's and rests her forehead against the bars. "Soren, please... I appreciate your help, I really do. But please stop trying to help me..."
looked at their hands, sighing. "Ye're a friend, Gjertrud... I want ye safe and sound. But believe me, once ye're out, ye're on yer own." He joked quietly, knowing she was strong enough to take care of
avoids looking at him. "Soren, I know you don't feel the same but I..." She frowns and closes her eyes. No, she didn't want to tell him and make him feel worse.
looks to her before putting his hand through the bars, placing it on her cheek. "I know, Gjertrud..."
blinks at him in surprise, a faint blush appearing. "I'm sorry...."
shakes his head. "Ye have nothin' to be sorry for. Things like this can't be helped some times."
frowns and looks away from him. "If I had known you were interested in someone else, I wouldn't have tried..."
sighs as he lowered his hand. "I didn't even know myself until recently... but... it's still up in the air. He's not even talkin' to me, so..."
shakes her head. "Try to make it up with him... I'm sure... I'm sure that the two of you will be fine."
shakes his head. "Even if we are, I don't wanna forget 'bout ye. We've been through tough shit together. I don't wanna forget."
"You don't have to forget... but I... I don't think we should spend any more time together. I've only hurt you."
smiled a bit. "Ye've made me stronger, Gjertrud. Don't think I've not had some feelin's for ye, too."
tightens her grip on the bars and shakes her head. "Stop... stop saying things like that if you don't mean it."
sighs. "I do mean it though. If I didn't, I'd not keep encouragin' ye to move to my town..."
blinks up at him. "I... even if you did, it's too late for us now."
sighed quietly. "It... might not have to be..."
shakes her head. "No, don't give up on Ludwig..."
shakes his head a bit. "I won't, but...."
frowns. "I don't want to be your second choice. If you like him better, go for it. But if it doesn't work out, don't come to me."
shrugs. "If it doesn't work out, I'd still want us to all be friends of some sort... if ye could handle that..."
hesitates before nodding slowly. "I... I guess."
smiled a little. "We can all get together at camp fires and that... give scary ghost stories, drink beer..."
nods and pulls away from the bars. She felt a little better, though she was still afraid she wouldn't live long enough to do any of that.
slowly stood up. "I have to fulfil some other stuff, but I'll come visit ye once in a while. Ye'll get food and water regularly... so don't feel like ye're bein' punished..."
watches him. "And... please try to make up with him."
smiles faintly. "I'll try. No promises we'll get together..."
nods. "I just want the two of you to be happy."
nods as he stepped back some more. "I want ye to be happy, too."
...nods slowly. "I will be happy when you are."
smiles. "I'll be happy when this war is over. And I can only imagine somethin's goin' on, and we'll make it outta here alive."
sighs quietly. "I hope so..."
waved to her. "Take care. I'll be back later tonight to check on ye."
waves back at him. "...Thanks."
walked out of there with a smile, glad things seemed to turn out better than he thought.
felt a little relieved that she was able to talk to Soren. She wouldn't think things were working out well until she was released from this prison, though...
knew that, and if he could prove her innocense he would. But it would be too suspicious if he went to confirm the information... He knew the one who was sent out though would be quick.
worried for whoever they sent, knowing how they would react if they found them.
just hoped for the best... He had good feelings though about all this.
hoped so... She didn't want the country she had fought for to resort to immorality to win.
knew Gondwana had a strong side, and strong willed people. He just hoped for the best...
had always trusted Laurasia... now she was starting to rethink her loyalties.
thought she had time to really consider her situation right now..
would be thinking it over while she waited.
The guard got some food for her and quietly passed it to her later on in the night, making sure she had enough water and things. He was informed to treat her with some respect.
takes the food with a small thanks and eats quietly in the corner.
The guard went back to his post, not thinking she was that bad personally.
just sat quietly most of the time.
returned later that night, a bit tired but wanted to make sure she was doing alright.
sat in a corner and glances up when he walks in. "Hello."
hums. "I just wanted to see how ye were holdin' up..."
nods as he sat by the bars, leaning against them. "M'glad. They been more or less nice to ye here?"
nods. "They've been fine." She moves to sit next to him.
smiled as he rested his hands on the bars. "Hopefully ye'll be outta here by tomorrow..."
leans against the bars, mirroring him. "I just hope that I gave them enough warning..."
nods a little. "They seem to be movin' quickly, so I'm sure it's okay... or at least, I can hope too..."
sighs quietly and rests her head against the bars. She stays silent for a while before speaking again. "Laurasia is losing ground every day... They probably thought that would be the only way to turn the tide."
kissed her forehead lightly before putting his hand over hers. "Everythin'll be okay... we're a strong side. And soon ye'll be apart of us."
blinks at him. "Soren, I... don't know if I can be. Gondwana killed my family, destroyed my village... They're weren't any soldiers in the village... I can't just forget that."
looks to her and nods. "Then y ewon't be apart of us... ye'll just be helpin' justice... then ye can be neutral. Like so many others."
looks to the ground and nods slowly. "I cannot go back to Laurasia and I will not be a part of Gondwana."
nods. "Ye'll be a neutral citizen then... and just live on Gondwana property." He looked down after. "If.. ye want, that is."
fidgets. "I don't think I'll be let back into Laurasia, so that's probably my only option."
shrugs. "I want ye to have a nice life, but if ye want to go and try to live in Laurasia again... ye can try."
sighs. "I don't really have any reason to."
shrugs. "It's yer home. Ye could at least try."
shakes her head. "My old village is now part of Gondwana territory now and I only ever lived with the army after."
nods at that. "We'll make somethin' work out..."
nods and reaches out to hold his hand.
smiles and takes her hand in his, rubbing his thumb over the back of it. "We'll be alright."
blinks at him and nods. "Yes." She glances at their hands before smiling faintly.
smiled widely. "I can stay with ye for tonight if ye want."
shakes her head. "No, I'm sure it would be uncomfortable for you. I'll be fine."
shrugs. "I just want ye to be comfy..."
blinks at him. "You mean you'd stay with me in here?"
nods. "Ja. Don't see why not."
frowns a little. "You're still recovering from your wounds, you need to sleep in a real bed."
shakes his head. "They're not that bad now, trust me. I can run without any pain."
fidgets. "If you won't mind, you can stay with me."
smiles. "I'd like that, then..."
nods slowly. "Then you can stay with me. If they let you..."
shrugs. "I can stay until I'm kicked out then."
smiles faintly. "Thanks."
shrugs. "What else are friends for, eh?"
leans against the bars again. She didn't think she'd be able to sleep but she appreciated the company.
would be with her either way.
sits in silence and closes her eyes. She didn't want to make Soren stay up if he was tired.
tired, but he also doubted he could sleep. Ye had too much on his mind.
stroked her hand lightly, humming quietly.
smiles faintly and blinks at him.
glanced at her. "Ye okay in here...?"
nods slowly. "I'm fine, don't worry about me."
sighs. "I'll always worry. I don't want ye in here..."
"I'm sure it won't be long."
nods. "I hope tomorrow. But still..."
strokes his hand. "I'm fine, Soren. I'm safe here."
nods as he looked down at their hands. "I know ye're safe here. But I still want ye to be happy and all that..."
smiles faintly. "I am happy. You helped me and... and I know you are still my friend."
smiled widely at that. "So ye consider me a friend now?"
hesitates before nodding. "I'm sorry for... for everything."
chuckles a bit. "Why? It's not like ye started the war. We're just here to finish it... together."
blinks at him and hums under her breath. "I really do hope it's almost finished."
shrugs. "I have a feelin' it is... our troops are quick on their feet, and if the info is true the word will be sent out instantly."
frowns a little. "I don't want to see more people die..."
nods as he held her hand tighter. "Ja, same... I've already done things I regret..."
looks at the floor. "I think we all have."
sighs. "At least we all understand each others pain..."
nods and tries to smile. "We all have that in common."
chuckles. "If ye live in my village, every week we can get together, with Ludwig too, and we can all go to a cafe and just... relax."
didn't know how keen Ludwig would be about that idea considering that she had threatened to hurt/kill him at one point.....
didn't know that, but he was sure they'd all get together once all of this was over...
wasn't really looking forward to seeing Ludwig again... She felt guilty every time he was brought up.
didn't mean to, he just wanted them all to be friends...
didn't blame him. She wanted the two of them to be happy. She closes her eyes. "Are you tired?"
shrugs. "Kinda. But I got too much adrenaline to sleep..."
shakes her head. "You should try or you'll just be more tired tomorrow."
smiles to her. "It's okay. I doubt I can sleep anyways. Especially when I'll be thinkin' of ye."
blinks quickly and looks away. "Idiot..."
chuckles. "Don't worry 'bout me. I'll be fine, really. Ye can try to sleep if ye want."
fidgets. "I don't know if I can..."
hums. "What if I told ye a bed time story?"
...laughs under her breath.
shrugs. "Hey, I'm serious. I know it helps my sister fall asleep when she's not tired."
blushes. "I.. usually drink."
hums a little. "I might be able to find a beer, or even some vodka...." He glanced around a bit. "Do ye still have some in yer bag?"
nods. "If you can't get it, it's fine."
shrugs and slowly took his hand from hers. "Give me a minute, I'll try and find yer pack." He got up and went to the area where they confiscated her stuff.
figured they'd be lucky if someone hadn't decided to 'confiscate' the vodka...
came back not too long later, smiling as he pulled the vodka from his jacket. "Now, ye can't have too much. Since we don't need a drunk Gjertrud stumblin' around. But ye get some."
blinks in surprise. "Wow, I wasn't expecting that to last through inspection."
shrugs. "Dependin' who does the inspections matters. Some are loyal, some aren't. Ye were lucky this round." He sat by the bars again and undid the top of the bottle, holding it close to the bars since it
sticks her arms through the bars and reaches for the lid. "Here, I'll use this as a cup."
nods a bit, pouring it in carefully so as to not waste any. "Better than nothin' I guess."
nods and pulls the lid through the bars and takes a drink. "Thanks..."
nods. "No problem." He sat back, placing the bottle down carefully.
passes the lid back. "You can have some, too."
shakes his head. "Nej, it's yers. Ye cherish it."
sighs quietly. "I shouldn't and I don't mind sharing, really."
looked at the bottle before pouring himself a little in the lid and taking a quick sip. "Tak."
smiles faintly as she watches him. She leans against the wall next to the bars. "I'm going to try to sleep. You should too..."
nods. "I'll go when ye fall asleep then."
nods, resting her head against the bars and closing her eyes. "Good night..."
smiles as he watched her. "Godnat, Gjertrud..."
hums under her breath and tries to sleep.
closed the vodka up and hid it in his jacket again. He leaned against the bars a bit, humming quietly.
's breathing slows and her hand falls limp to the floor.
smiles a little, seeing how she looked pretty peaceful. He still wanted to stay by her though, just in case.
manages to fall asleep. She would feel a little guilty about him staying but she would really be grateful.
managed to fall asleep leaning against the bars. Even as the guards changed shift they didn't bother to move him.
sleeps through the night. It was quieter in the cell then she was used to at night. All she could hear was the breath of Soren and herself.
tried to be as quiet as he could, and thankfully didn't move at all in the night.
groans quietly as she wakes in the morning, her neck stiff from leaning against the bars.
still asleep, but just barely. He was never a heavy sleeper in these situations.
stretches her neck and blinks over at him, pausing before smiling. So he did stay...
could hear a bit of movement and started to wake up, rubbing his eyes.
stands up to stretch some more. "Morning..."
chuckles a bit. "Morgen..." He rubbed his eyes and stretched. "How'd ye sleep?"
"Better than anticipated, apparently."
smiles at that and stood up slowly. "Today ye should be released. Then ye'll be free~"
yawned again. "Want me to get ye some breakfast?"
hesitates before nodding. "If you don't mind..."
nods and headed out, acting quickly. He got some bowls of hot oatmeal and quickly brought it to her so it didn't get cold.
smiles faintly and glances at the guard, wondering if he would let Soren pass it to her. There was no way that bowl would fit through the bars...
gave a quick word with him before he smiled wider, standing by the door as the guard opened it. He was quick in giving her the food, not wanting it to get cold and also not wanting the guard to get suspicious.
takes the food and steps away from the door. "Thanks."
stepped back so the guard could lock the door again. He sat by the bars and started eating the food.
sits across from him and starts eating her own. It was better than the prison food, that was for sure.
eagerly ate, glad to be around her in this situation. He didn't want to leave her alone.
didn't mind being alone but she was glad to have him there.
finished his food quick enough. "I can go check on yer status some time today if ye want..."
blinks over at him. "If you don't mind... It would be nice to know how long I will be in here..."
nodded as he got up. "Take yer time eatin', then. I'll be back quickly..." He left after that, running as fast as he could.
watches him go. She didn't think he meant now....
thought now was better than later. It took a while but he did return, humming quietly as he went to sit by the bars again.
stares at him as he walks in. "Any news?"
nods. "Ye'll be freed later today. They got word that what ye said was true."
blinks at him before breathing a sigh of relief. "That's good, thank you."
nodded happily. "They'll be sendin' over a soldier to talk to the guard, since my word is kinda a conflict of interest... but he shouldn't take forever. Ye should be out by dinner time."
nods. "I will look forward to it." She didn't know where she would go or what she would do after but at least she was able to get to the camp and give them the information.
thought she could get a spot in the medical tent. They generally had a spare bunk or two...
would head for a neutral town if worst came to worst.
could try and find a few nearby so he could visit her when he had time off.
would like that... she hoped that the war would be over before he got the chance, though.
did too... though, he had a feeling it was going to end really soon.
blinks at him. "Do you have work to be doing soon?"
shakes his head. "I'm free for a few more days... normal rotations and stuff."
nods slowly. "Okay. I was hoping I wasn't keeping you from anything important."
shakes his head. "Nej, not at all. Besides, I wanna make sure ye're okay..."
tries to smile. "I will be fine."
shrugs. "I just wanna make sure..." He was still worried for her.
wasn't worried, especially now that she knew she would be released that day.
still wanted to make sure she was okay. And wanted to know where she'd be staying.
hadn't a clue yet. She sits quietly in her cell, glancing at him every once in a while.
lightly played with the bars of the cell. "Soon... soon ye'll be out... then we can find a place for ye..."
a hollow smile. "I feel like a stray cat..."
frowns a bit. "Ye aren't, so don't think that... ye gotta home."
chuckled. "In my heart." He knew it was cheesy, and semi-terrible, but true.
....reaches through the bars to punch at his arm. "Idiot..." A faint blush appeared on her cheeks.
chuckled at that, clearly still happy. "I just want ye to know that I care."
sighs. "You care too much."
shrugs. "Someone has to. I think everyone deserves to be loved, cared, and thought of..."
blinks at him, grabbing the bars loosely. "I..." She frowns and looks at the ground. "Thank you."
smiles at that. "Velbekommen, Gjertrud..."
didn't know how to react or what to say. She couldn't remember the last time she had let someone into her life or had someone care about her.
had a lot of heart, so he cared for a lot of people. Especially when he got to know them well...
liked how caring he was towards other people. It was one reason she kept trying to push him towards the medical field.
would probably still go and talk to people there, just to make them a bit happier.
would be happy to hear that. She hears someone walking towards them and glances over, hoping it would be the soldier tasked with having her let out.
quickly looks over and smiles as he got up, listening to the soldier talk to the guard. He bounced up and down as the guard opene the door to let her out, while the solider went to retrieve her bag.
stands up slowly and walks out, nearly laughing at Soren's excitement, hiding her smile behind her hand.
The soldier just handed her the bag before walking off again, while the guard went back to his duties. Søren eagerly took her arm and walked out, heading for the medical tent. "Let's find ye a bed~"
walks with him before hesitating. "Where? I probably shouldn't stay anywhere near where I was before..." She didn't want anyone recognizing her and getting her thrown back in the cell.
nods a little. "... I could bring ye to the fox hole that Ludwig and I stay in... or just find a fox hole around the area."
nods slowly. "As long as it's safe..."
nods. "Ja, it's on the back lines. This way even ye could get to the soldiers before other medics." He started guiding her towards the area, eager to get her some where close to him.
follows behind him. She didn't mind working closer to the lines and if this meant she could help more, she would do it.
found a fox hole that looked empty and went into it. "How does this look?"
follows him with a small shrug. "As good as anywhere else, I suppose."
smiled and got up the side, pointing to another. "That's Ludwig's and mine... so ye can even throw somethin' at me to get my attention."
watches him before nodding. "I will keep that in mind..."
sat in the fox hole with her. "So, is this okay?"
blinks over at him and nods. "I do not mind this at all. I am glad that I will still be able to help."
nods. "Just watch out, I tend to get hurt when I don't pay attention."
frowns. "I'd rather you not get hurt at all..."
chuckles. "I know, I know. I'm tryin' to be good, but some times it's hard."
sighs quietly. "I'll keep an eye out for you but you had better not get hurt."
nods a little. "If I do get hurt, I'll make sure to look for ye."
punches at his arm lightly. "Good... I'm not letting any of the other medics help you."
chuckles at that. "It'll be okay... really. If anythin' happens though..." He shrugged a bit.
nods slowly and glances down at her dress, brushing some dirt off to distract herself from worrying.
smiles and ruffles her hair a bit. "I'm gonna go do a few rounds, but I'll be back."
nods. "I'll get changed and start helping out."
nods at that. "Sounds good. I'm sure there's people around that need help."
pulls a nurse uniform out of her bag, making sure there were no patches on it.
