stands outside Dorthe's house and knocks at the door, a case of expensive beer at her feet.
poookes her head out from behind the door and stares at the other. " Norge?"
pushes the beer towards her using her foot. "Thought you might have run out by now."
perked up, looking down to it before hugging her. " Tak~~~'
lets herself be hugged and pauses before patting Dorthe's back a little and shrugging.
continued to hug the other for some time as she was satisfied. " I haven't seen you in such a long time and I had been caught up in stuff too. I hope the cake I made at Thora's place reached you last month."
....pauses. "It was very good, thank you." She assumes Thora or the troll got to it first...
smiles, " Really? I should bake more for you next time then." She was glad the other seemed okay thought she did pick up on the pause.
nods. "That would be nice, thank you. How have you been?" She wouldn't admit it but she had been worrying about the other.
grins, positive and practically overjoyed still by the other's presence. " Alive and well~" She laughed after, " Screw up my eye a bit in an accident but doesn't hinder me at all."
sighs and pokes her side. "You need to be careful."
wiggles and nods, " No worries, I just count them along with the rest of the scars I've got." She laughed some more, proudly.
rolls her eyes. "It's not a good thing."
shrugs, " Well, might as well make it a good thing, ja?" She was optimistic about everything really.
sighs and picks up the beer. "It's still not good."
reached out and held the entire case instead, bringing it inside. " Bah who cares. It'll heal by itself like everything else. Now, have you eaten yet?"
steps inside after her and shuts the door. "Not yet. Did you want to go get something?"
shrugs, " Up to you. I can cook here too you know."
"It's your birthday, I'd buy."
blinks, " You sure?"
nods. "Yeah, I can't make the birthday girl pay."
laughs, " Where do you want to eat then?"
blinks at her. "Your choice."
shrugs, " I don't have any preferences."
nods. "Alright. Are you ready?"
nods as she grabbed her coat and keys, " Lead the way then."
starts back out and walks along the street. "It's not far."
stays beside the other as she nodded. " Well, if it was we could drive."
shrugs. "It's nice out, I won't mind a walk if you don't."
nods in agreement. " Of course. The weather has been good lately too."
puts her hands in her pockets as she walks. "Yes, it has."
smiles more and hummed contently at the good weather.
glances at her. "You really have been fine?"
smiles, " Well, why else should I not be okay?"
looks away. "I just haven't heard from you in a while."
shrugs, " Maybe I should call more then?"
pauses before shrugging. "If you want to."
smiles, " Its a promise then."
would look forward to it. "Alright then."
just hoped she didn't get the usual voice mail whenever she called.

walks up towards a harbor and stops for a moment to look out at the water.
looked out too, smiling widely at the site. " Still just a pretty ja?"
nods. "Hasn't changed much."
chuckles, " In a way."
"Well, the water part."
nods, " Ja. There's slight changes but I guess its part of my home."
starts walking again. "I guess I just picture it as it used to be."
shrugs, following beside the other. " Its still part of me and I won't change either Norge if that's what you're worried about."
glances at her. "I am not worried about you changing. You have proven that you will not over the centuries."
chuckles, " You guess right that I don;t exactly like change."
nods slowly, the tiniest smile appearing on her face.

proud of her lack of change seeing she had been around for so long.
walks up to a seafood restaurant and holds the door open for her.
blinks and entered first, wondering when did this place exist.
had been to this restaurant a few times before and liked it. She walks to the hostess and follows her to a table.
followed behind as she was curious. It wasn't every day she found something the other liked.
liked a few things. She just didn't state when she did like them. They are seated at a table that over looks the harbor.
grinned, surprised that there was a place with such a nice view.
sips at a glass of water as she looks out.
exampled the view quietly in the meantime.
drinks in silence, enjoying the view.
nods, " Mhmm." She was captivated by it.
glances at her. "I thought you might like it here."
nods and smiles, " I really do. Tak."
nods in reply and starts to look at the menu.
looked at the menu a little while later since she couldn't stop looking out.
decides what she would like and returns to looking out the window.
picked something that sounded good and went with that.
places her order with the waitress.
did the same before looking to the other, " So how have you been lately?"
shrugs. "Fine."
blinks, " That's all?"
glances at her. "Yes."
pouts, " Nothing interesting or special?"

nods, " Makes sense."
raises an eyebrow. "How does that make sense?"
shrugs, " Isn't it better that nothing happens that if something bad does?"

smiles as she went back to watching the harbour.

shrugs as the appetizers arrived. " The Netherlands. He threw a pair of scissors at me along with some other office stuff when I was working there."

...reluctantly starts to eat. She wasn't going to ruin her birthday getting mad.
smiles, " Don't worry about it. Like I said before I have plenty of other scars too."
growls faintly. "And are you still married to him?"
tilts her head, finding it funny as she smirked and thought that was a joke. " What? I never had been married in the first place, especially not him out of all people."

scratched her head, " Maybe you were dreaming." She showed her hands to the other, where no ring could be found.

nods and looks around. "I've been working too much."

frowns. "Just try not to over work."
nods and pats the other on the back as she came to a stop by the fountain. " I won't. Learn that the hard way years ago too." She grins.

nods as she pushed the beer opener to the other. " That I can't argue with."
opens the beer. She had mostly been joking but she wasn't going to point that out now.

nods. "Sitting and drinking it is."

hides a smirk behind her hand. "I just figured you'd want to drink a lot tonight."
wrinkles her nose, a little challengingly at that. " It's a little different when with company. Gotta stay classy."
nearly laughs. "Since when am I considered company you can't drink around?"
stuck her tongue out. " Drinking, I don't mind. Getting completely wasted and having some prank pulled on me makes me have my doubts on the other hand." She recalled all those times...
smirks, not bothering to hide it this time. "What would give you that idea?"
saw that and pouted, " It happens all the time when I get drunk with you....I think."
mocks offended. "Do you have any proof?"
frowns, " I know I'm in some embarrassing situation the next day."

glances over at Dorthe. "Was there anything else you wanted to do today?"
shook her head with a wide content smile, " This is already more than I could ever ask for."
blinks at her before nodding and tickling Kara.
laughs as the kitten was having too much fun from that.
smiles and pets her. "It is nice to play with kittens every once in a while."
perks up a bit, " You should come visit more then."
nods slowly. "I will try to."
smiles, " That's good then."
scratches the kitten's chin. "Someone has to entertain this poor lonely kitten."
pouts, " She has me and the other animals you know."
glances at her. "I was teasing."
pouts more, not sure how to respond after.
smiles faintly at her.
caught that and stopped pouting after as she wrinkled her nose. She disliked being a little dense at times.
hums quietly. "Have you had any cake today?"
shook her head, " I thought dessert counted for that."
shrugs. "Do you want cake?"
shrugs, " If you want some too."
sets Kara down and stands up. "It's your birthday, you should probably have cake."
sighs, " Does that mean I should bake?" She was getting lazy.
shakes her head. "Of course not." She walks to the kitchen and starts to pull a few things out.
