There was a cloud of bees over my back porch while it was going on: Bees Swarming

LillieJay: They will go try to find a place to build a new hive. Hopefully not in a neighbor's tool shed or other inconvenient place.

The ones remaining in the hive will raise a new queen and carry on as normal.
