Day 28. A song you change the words to when you sing it: Resent me or applaud me, I don't care. I often like power pop, but not like this.
STARSHIP - We Built This City HQ.wmv Maybe I'm just a stick in the mud sometimes, but when a group that came out of the gate with stuff like "White Rabbit" returned with a song this glossy, I flinched.
My change? The hook is usually, "We built this city on rock and roll." It becomes "This song is shitty and has no soul." Then I change the station.
