I remember loving the book and seeing the Robert Redford version. I wasn't too excited about the new one.

But then I saw it, and it made me way more attached to the characters than I expected. Emotional roller coaster, ahhhhh

Anyway, some things were strange, like modernizing the music for the party scenes, but it worked after getting over that original surprise.
