so long as you limit your exposure to the bad parts, there are a lot of great people here. i've developed opinions about a number of people such that i automatically ignore their comments if i ever see them.

Yep, and there's lovely scripts to take care of the worst. I also learn quickly which designers' feeds I should just politely recuse myself from.

i accept all adds from people in SL, but i do use the unfollow button quite a bit.
