Did you see it in 3D?

I did not see it in 3D. Three strikes me as a waste of money.

The best thing about it is the story actually moves and it seems fairly faithful to the book

My biggest worry was that it would be as I heard someone describe it "A two-hour Heineken commerical" and while there was certainly some of that, the story moved enough to exceed my expectations.
