I subscribed to DND insider, which gives you access to a browser-based character builder, so it should work on everyone's machines!
If you go to the dnd website, you can log-in to my insider account with the email "
[email protected]" and the password "sk3l3ton"
The builder has all the options and small-stuff published in each book or magazine or whatever, and all laid out for you to sift through really easily.
SO, if you wanna play around with making characters, or see some of the stuff it lets you mess around with, totally feel free!
It even has an in-program marketplace to manage and pick up your character's gear, and can track exp and levels and things, automatically telling you when to pick new powers, or other stuff
And, of course, it can export the sheet itself to print out if you like, as well as automatically making little "cards" with each power your character has for EZ reference
Don't use it with chrome, though. It doesn't work quite properly so you can't type anything in the boxes that need typing, like for character names and search bars and stuff
That's awesome thanks man!
which campaign setting? does it even matter?
Can I make mine lawful evil?
I used Home campaign setting, but as far as the in-game locations like Ebberon or Dark Sun, anything is fine since were using neither
As far as alignment goes, I'm also good with whatever, just as long as you think you can make it work with everyone else.
this program also doesn't have the full alignment chart from 3.5, which is balls, so feel free to be any of the 9 alignments that people care about. Just pick the closest thing if its not there
