had gotten one of his two cars out of the garage to pick him up. He had even run it through a car wash before he'd come over.
appreciates the effort Turkey had gone through and is waiting in the arrivals section curiously glancing through some political magazines.
had parked and gone to find him, it really didn't take long to spot the blond.
hadn't spotted the Turk and goes back to stand around waiting for Sadik.
moved over to him and lightly tapped him on the shoulder. "Ludwig."
startles a little before glancing over at Sadik and relaxing. "Sadik...you scared me."
grinned at the response, his head tilting a bit. "Maybe that was my aim," he moved to take Ludwig's bag from him. "Come on, I parked in the short term spots."
nods wanting to protest when Sadik grabs his bag but doesn't get much of a chance as he follows after him. "Thanks for picking me up."
shrugs at the thanks as he started towards where he'd parked. "No need to thank me, I invited you here. I should at least pick you up."
can't help but nod a bit. "Right." He says simply as he shifts his carry on to look for the plan he had made up.
found his car easily and popped the trunk, putting the luggage in there before he unlocked the doors for Ludwig.
finds it easily and pulls the folder out before sliding into the passenger side of the car and waiting for Sadik.
got in on the driver side and started the car up. "So I think for tonight, how about dinner and then we'll do everything you have planned starting tomorrow."
that's a great idea. He slips the folder back into his carry on. "Sounds like a good plan."
nods a bit as he pulled out of the parking lot and headed for his house.
admires the view. "I believe leaving from your airport is one of the most scenic views." He says casually.
glances over at him and smiles, always happy to get compliments. "Probably is."
chuckles lightly, no modesty whatsoever but that's probably why he liked Sadik.
hummed thoughtfully as he drove for a bit, he was proud of his land and his people. Shouldn't every nation be? It wasn't long before he pulled into his drive way, pushing the button for the garage door.
that everyone nation should be, of course. He gets out of the car when Sadik parks it stretching a bit.
got out as well and got Ludwig's bags out of the trunk before he headed inside, setting the bags down in the hall and holding the door for Ludwig.
thanks him as he steps in and waits for the Turk to follow suite.
followed him inside and lead the German up to his guest room, he'd spent the last few days cleaning it and setting it up for him.
he didn't have to go through all of that trouble. It would have probably been fine the way it is. He places one of his bags down in the corner.
wanted to do it, he set the bag he carried down and glanced over at him with a smile. "I'll go get dinner started and you can share all your plans with me so we can figure tomorrow out."
nods. "I'll just set up a bit and be down to help you in a sec."
shook his head as he moved back out into the hall, "you're here to relax, not to help my cook and stuff."
doesn't get a chance to say anything as he pulls a few things out for later.
went down to start dinner letting him get settled in.
|When he feels satisfied, heads downstairs to see what he could do to help, even if Sadik said he didn't need too. "I find cooking and stuff relaxing." He says as he places his folder down on the counter.
glanced over at him as he worked over the stove, stirring the contents of the pot. "Hmm well there isn't much to do now."
it smells good. "Ah, I see. Well I do have the plan if you want to hear it or we can wait till after dinner."
smiled and motioned for him to go on, "let's hear your plan now."
nods as he pulls the folder closer to him and opens it pulling out the papers he had printed out. "I thought a good place to start out at would be the palace, then a nice ferry ride out in the Bosphorous for
some fresh air and once that's done I would enjoy going to the Haghia Sophia. I was thinking a light snake after the palace, and the dinner after the ferry."
listened intently and only smiled a bit faintly at the mention of the palace as he nodded. "Sounds like a good plan to me."
places the papers done. "Any suggestions?"
about that for a bit and nods, "I know a good place for dinner and somewhere we can get a nice treat."
that sounds great. "I trust your choice. Also, I guess mostly as an afterthought, if you don't want to come with me to any of these places you don't have too. I can entertain myself if need be."
paused in tending the stew and frowned slightly. "Why wouldn't I want to join you? I wouldn't be a very good host if I didn't show you around, besides I can give you more accurate information than any tour
that's true and he liked the accuracy and almost intimate stories. "I just didn't want you to feel obligated."
hummed thoughtfully and waved a hand dismissivly at him.
"You're a friend, I want to show you around, there is no obligation."
tucks the paper back in it's folder. "You know, that's the same for you if you ever chose to come to a German city."
nods at that and moves to get two bowls out and some spoons, setting the table. "I will keep that in mind."
him a bit of space to do so.
set the pot out on the table and got the bottle of wine out of the freezer setting it down as well.
studies the bottle of wine curiously.
motioned for him to take a seat. He'd pulled out a bottle of white he'd gotten from Francis a few years back.
if it's Alsace wine. He takes a seat and waits for the Turk.
sat down after opening the bottle and pouring them each a glass. He smiled over at him. "Well dig in."
smiles back and does just that, very pleased with the first bite. "What is this?"
took a few bites of food himself and smiled, "just a stew, nothing to special."
digs in some more taking note of the ingredients as he tastes them. However, there were many he couldn't identify, maybe he'd ask Sadik later.
ate quietly for a bit and sipped at his wine, it really wasn't anything special.
eventually tried the wine and found that it was indeed from Alsace. "What have you been doing lately?" He speaks up trying to engage the other in small conversation.
glanced over at him with the question and shrugged a bit, "working mostly. Nothing to exciting. You?"
Sadik is starting to sound like him. "Working but I've gotten some days off to visit around."
just been pretty content to focus on work and not on a certain person.
that's fair, he's had that happen to him before.
took a sip of his wine and smiled over at him briefly. "So anything special happen recently?"
quirks a brow as he finishes his stew. "Define special."
shrugs as he ate his more slowly. "I don't know, anything aside from work?"
can't help but be amused by that definition of special. "I went to visit Hungary for a few days." He thinks.
nods and finished his food off. "That's good, how is she doing?"
sips at his wine. "She's doing fine. The usual."
smiled at him and nodded again. "That's good then."
remembers his previous conversations with her and glances curiously at Sadik. "So, how was it like taking care of Elizaveta? I only have my bruder and Roderich to go off of but I'm interested to hear your side
blinks at the question, it struck him as a bit odd. He sat back and sipped his wine as he thought about that for a moment. "Hmm... she was a hell raiser."
nods lightly. "She was always a hell raiser?"
thought about that and shakes his head. "No, she was a good kid. I enjoyed being able to bring her up."
leans back in his chair, crossing his arms as he takes in this information. "I see."
raised a brow curiously. "Any reason you're asking?"
smiles lightly. "Mostly curious. I got into a conversation of our childhood experiences with her not too long ago. I wanted to hear what you had to say on the matter."
nods as he poured them both more wine. "Ah makes sense then."
