So i finally finished watching ALL 26 episodes of the anime

and finally watched End of Evangalion

for the first time in my life! my first eva watch through

the reason why i did is cause i NEVER got around to it cause i just hated the exposure it has on everyone anime nerd ever

either its the best thing ever and god send

or its overrated trite anime outdated bullshit

so i decided to put my own thoughts and speculations out the window and watch the anime for the first time with a clear of mind as i could

(also it was dubs just an fyi)

and yeah

it was REALLY really over dramatic

its outdated as hell

with tons of bullshit teen angst and daddy/mommy issues

felt like it was trying to hard to be "deep and metaphorical" and shit

and hit you over the head with parallels "GET IT. ANGELS, GOD, ADAM AND EVE GET IT" moments

i still really enjoyed it for what it was!

I enjoyed Evangalion without a doubt!

i like the world they set up, the mythos, the characters, giant humanoid robots

i thought it was pretty fucking cool

and i chalk up the Over Angst Teen Drama to being the 90s

you can say that DragonBall Z is fucking stupid as hell with all the energy blasts training screaming and hair but its still a lot of fun

i mean FLCL and Gurren Lagan have their metaphors that they beat you to death with

but i still really enjoyed them!

So is it kinda stupid? yeah pretty much

it good? Yeah! i think its pretty darn good!

it really is one huge inside joke

so whenever i see people making analytically essays about eva
