laughs. He bets it wasn't even poisonous.
frowns at him. "William, you're not being helpful." He tosses the dead thing on the bin, sighing and washing his hands. "You're worse than my children, yikes..."
smirks, 'And you're terrified of your own shadow.' He peers into the bin, 'It was tiny!'
huffs, crossing his arms. "I am not terrified of such little things.. Yes, it was tiny, it's still a bug in a place where I cook my food." He rolls his eyes. "Were you going to adopt that one too?"
laughs, 'I don't adopt random spiders. They're happier spinning their own wee webs.'
shrugs, setting the kettle on the counter as he looks around, searching for powder. "Not in my kitchen." He complains, yet, setting a mug for himself. "Coffee, miúdo?"
nods, What does Miudo mean?' He sits himself on a stool, waiting for the coffee.
shrugs. "Little one, like child." He translates, putting the water to boil. "There are some cookies there at the table, eat some too." He offers, waiting.
stares at him, raising an eyebrow. 'I'm not in a 12 year old's body.' :|
grins. "You're not, but still doesn't mean you're not younger. Relax, it's not meant to offend."
stares at the man a little longer before taking a cookie, 'Doesn't mean anything, mate.'
stares at the man a little longer before taking a cookie, 'Doesn't mean anything, mate.'
nods. "True." He serves them both their coffee after, placing a cup in front of William, with milk and sugar if he wants to add it.
adds two sugars and milk, 'slowly making his way through the biscuit. 'Half of Europe acts like 10 year olds.'
smiles. "It kinda happens after you pass the 1000 years of age..." He chuckles, drinking his coffee pure. "Things get boring when we behave too much, just look at your own father."
scoffs, 'True. I suppose that's the plus side of it all. I'd rather you all act like 10 year olds than him.'
smiles a bit. "How's he, anyway? I can't remember the last time I saw him..." he hums, grabbing a cookie for himself from the jar and wetting it on the coffee to eat it.
shrugs, 'Shagging Ireland, most likely.'
blinks at him. He really should have a talk on raising kids but... No. Quite certainly, had William been raised by himself, he'd be much more polite. The man huffs and pauses awkwardly, munching his cookie.
eyes the man up, before grinning. He leans forward. 'Jealous?'
raises one eyebrow. "Should I be?" He smiles a bit, being a very good liar.
watches him for a few moments before sitting himself back down. He picks up his coffee with a shrug, 'Probably. I imagine he's always been carrying a torch for the guy.'
studies him, picking a cookie and dipping it on the coffee again. "Ah, then I should as well be happy for both." He replies imply, shrugging. "Ireland isn't a bad kisser." He bluffs, keeping his poker face and_
watching to see what would be Australia's reaction.
doesn't look surprised, 'So I've heard.' He gives the older man a grin, 'Enough about crotchety old island nations though, eh? How's being on the mainland?'
smirks a bit. "Not so bad... The old crisis talk, you sure have heard of it, but things are alright, as you can see." He sips his coffee. "We've toned down the whole setting fire on tires."
looks a bit pale at that, 'That's probably good for the planet.' Really, the older nations didn't really care.
can agree. "Certainly." he's seen worse, though. "The epreparations for the coming world cup have begun too... Excited?"
nods, 'Yeah. Of course. I'm always up for showing your guys up.' He grins, 'Are you ready to lose?'
chuckles. "I think the real talk here is with my children, they aren't!" He hums. "But of course I am not either. Can't stay behind Spain now." he hums, happy to see him so thrilled.
rather competitive when it comes to sport. 'We didn't do half bad last time. I think you'll be surprised at how well my team does this time.'
- "I'll wait for it then... But I'm sure we have others to worry about." He thinks, honestly not picturing either of them as heavy competition.
try his hardest, at the very least.
smiles. "Well, good luck." He will be cheering for himself, of course, and then his kids, especially Brazil — that boy was going crazy already...
would be relying on his own strength. 'I wonder how the rest of the world will react to the commonwealth games, huh?'
sighs. "Who knows? My players are not doing their best but I think until the real deal comes, it'lll all be decided." Or so he hopes. "Plus, there's always politics involved too...."
blinks, 'Politics in Sports?'
laughs. "sometimes, yes.. You should know." he hums, walking closer to the window to light up a cigarette. "It's a complicated subject, too. Still, good luck in the games, William." He offers the other a smile.
hums, 'It's a good ice breaker. I'll say that.'
chuckles, although he doesn't understand how that's an 'ice breaker'... maybe he's getting rusty with young people's slang again. "True." He takes a long drag, smiling after. "I just have to say I probably_
won't cheer for you.." he teases.
laughs, 'I don't need you cheering for me, old man.'
hums. "Too much pride will kill your talent, miúdo..."
