he can come visit her if he wants?
wouldn't mind that at all as long as she isn't too busy that is.
can easily blow off work for him. It's not like she was planning to do much anyhow.
that she should probably think of getting her work done before he invites her over. Bl
he should come visit her, since she has the beaches. Work can easily be put off, people in her home take the day off when it's particularly nice weather. Everyone is a lot more laid back, so it's not an issue.
be there soon in that case.
has the beer, again. And is making his way up her walk.
can hear the dogs barking at the new arrival, and hurries over to open the gates. "Hiiii Ludwig!"
managed to calm them down and get them to sit as he spots Shaliza. "Hallo Shaliza~" He smiles as he steps around the gate. "You've been well?"
surprised they listen to him. "I have! Aside from these little troublemakers." She leans up to kiss him on the cheek in greeting, before leading him across the yard towards her house.
smiles at the greeting and follows after her. "Nice weather again at your house. I'm a bit jealous."
grins at that. "Well, that's what you get in the Caribbean. No winter here, just rainy reason and dry season."
would like that. "If you ever want to come experience a winter my door is open to you." He says.
shivers at the thought. "If it's anything like Matthew's, it's too cold. I can't live in an ice box...but I guess I can visit sometime..."
chuckles lightly. "Not that cold, at least, not in the south."
hums softly. "Then maybe when I do visit, that's where we can go." She leads him through the kitchen, towards the backdoor. "Do you need to change? Or did you want any food or drink?"
had changed in the airport. "I should be good. What did you have in mind as entertainment?"
shrugs. "I was thinking we could head to the beach? If you want relaxing, we can go out back. If you wanted entertaining.." Well, only one thing for that. "There's a river lime...always."
likes the beach idea. "I'm never opposed to the beach...as long as you don't mind applying sunscreen on my back." He always got so red when
he wasn't careful an sunburns were never fun.
grins a little at that. It was possible she very much took for granted that she didn't burn. "Of course I don't mind." She fusses a little with packing a small bag. Sunscreen, towels, -and of course- a bottle _
doesn't have to pack his bag, having done that before arriving but makes sure to bring the beers with them. It was always a much more relaxing experience with beer.
leads him out into the backyard, and through a second gate, which opens out to a long stretch of beach.
the beach here. He follows her with the beer and other goods. "I don't know what it is about the beach but I always feel significantly more relaxed here."
happy he likes it. She glances back with a grin, leading him towards the hammock she had set up...years and years ago. It's old and worn, but comfortable. "You look like you need it. My home is open to_
_you whenever you need it. If I'm not home, you can let yourself through."
would feel a little awkward doing that but the thought was nice. "I think I'd prefer if you were here. But I appreciate the offer."
shrugs. "Either way works. All I'm saying is that sometimes you have to just...get away, you know? From everything, and my home is open when you get to that point." She starts to pull off her shirt, pushing off
_her skirt. She's already wearing her bikini underneath, and she kinda wants to just...fall into the sand and wiggle in it.
nods taking it in. "Well, thank you, in that case. However, I have yet to get a visit from you. It hardly seems fair."
grins at that, flopping back onto the hammock. "I guess. You should let me know when it gets a little warmer, I'll visit for sure."
nods as he takes a seat on one of the beach chairs cracking open a beer. "Beer?"
perks up at that. Maybe it's better she drink beer today anyways. "Sure, gracias~"
passes her an open and cool beer. "De nada." He replies with a small smile.
grins at that, taking the beer and leaning over to ruffle his hair. "Your Spanish is pretty good." He didn't butcher the pronunciation or anything!
had gone to visit Mallorca a lot. His people liked latin countries for some reason, not that the could blame them. "Ah, danke. I get a lot of practice."
drinks happily from the beer. "You should practise more over here."
smiles lightly. "Maybe I should." He agrees as he drinks from his beer and leans back against the chair.
stretches out on the hammock, looking out at the water. "It's gorgeous, huh? I see it so often, but it's never boring..."
nods. "It's beautiful...a work of art."
smiles at that. It's nice that someone else appreciates it. "You know what's weird? We have these gorgeous waters...and most of my people can't even swim. They take it for granted that the water is always_
_there, and so they never bother with it..." It made her sad sometimes.
